General / Re: Thoughts on the DMC1 switch port announcement?

Nice to see it's coming but a poor attempt on Capcom's part. I think they're planning to release them all but separately and at a premium.

From time to time, I like watching speedruns and fighting games.

I've streamed quite a few times but I couldn't get the hang of talking and was always stressed out.

General / Re: What Games Did You End Up Selling

I can remember selling The Legend of Zelda Collectors Disc and The Master Quest on the Gamecube.

After a week or so I was missing those games bad.

Recently purchased them and got both back into my collection, never again will I part with stuff I love.

Ebony and Ivory from DMC comes to mind when I think of this. I'm sure there are better guns but I'd pick those.

I usually don't detach the cord, from the console. and I store extra cords inside boxes with the games in them :)

I'd do that but I'd be afraid of damaging the ports.

I have 2 door mounted fabric shoe racks. 1 contains all my controllers and the other all my cords. they are all sectioned out so if I want to hook up a master system, a dreamcast, or anything not permanently set up I know where the exact cords I need are. for example my upper left one contains NES cords so my upper left controllers are all NES related.

Nice, I'll have to look into getting one of those. Didn't think about that.

Heya everyone, over the years I've collected quite a few consoles and have an abundant amount of cables.
I was wondering how you all go about storing them and what are the best ways to do so?

Currently have them all in a backpack and need a more optimal way of putting them away.

Thanks for responding, I've not had any experience with Turtle Beach but I'd be willing to give them a try.

I'll see what my local gamestop has to offer, I've seen a few there but haven't paid any mind to what brand they are.

I'm looking to purchase a pair of headphones for gaming and casual use for the PC.

Not well informed as to what brands are durable and trustworthy, think you can help me out?

Prefer them to be over the ear and not overly expensive.

Beyonetta, after watching the game awards and seeing that we are getting the first two on Switch and a third game, I figured I'd go ahead and finally give the series a shot.

While I'm not blown away I think it's a pretty cool game.

Modern Video Games / Re: Which PS4 Should I buy?

If it's reliability you seek, I'd purchase the slim model. It has actual buttons and it's smaller than a launch PS4.

We have both models here in the house and I can say for sure that the slim is better.

I was hardcore into Minecraft about 3 - 4 years ago. Remember the long nights playing he game with my cousin when he'd visit on the weekends.

Still think it's fun, I ignore the community for obvious reasons.

Hardware and Tech / Re: Opinion on modded consoles
« on: November 15, 2017, 07:04:48 pm »
Depending on where you live and if a game never has a chance to come out in your region, I say it's totally fine to do.

On actual hardware mods or aesthetic changes?, if you can find a good replacement shell that isn't crap, it's neat to do when the old shell is worn or damaged beyond any kind of repair.

It depends, some games become coasters, and others last a very long time.

Sometimes the modding/hacking seen can revive games themselves, kinda like how PSO is still alive and kicking.

Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow, hadn't watched it in years. Probably one of my favorite films from him.
