Good lord, folks are just selling ZIP files full of downloads one could go find for themselves. Yeah, those are not legal to be sold, but it's a cottage market so Nintendo most likely doesn't care too much (they probably will at some point) and other publishers less so.

I would not get them for free, I don't think it is a good idea to download from many of those Free ROM websites there could be malware I didn't get anything bad from Etsy though. But I am no longer buying anymore now at least I got enough from them.

I'll probably go GOG if they have something I want and don't already have. if the staff need to know more then try contacting the sellers I do not want to get anyone in trouble :-\

If you continue to suggest that people go to Etsy to purchase ROMs, without providing firm proof that the Etsy seller owns the rights to the games in question I will consider that advocation of piracy, which will result in another ban.

Please provide some links to these valid ETSY ROM shops.

MASTER LINK EVERYONE AND YOU TOO GM!!

BING SEARCH CO-PIOLIT

Yes, Etsy is a legitimate online marketplace specializing in handmade and vintage products. It’s a creative platform where millions of shoppers spend billions each year purchasing directly from creative entrepreneurs like you1. If you’re interested in selling your own handmade or vintage items, Etsy is a great place to start! Here are some key points about selling on Etsy:

Listing Fees: To list an item on Etsy, you pay a $0.20 listing fee, which renews every four months. This fee allows your item to be active on the platform until it sells.
Transaction Fee: When you make a sale, Etsy charges a 6.5% transaction fee based on the item’s sale price.
Payment Processing Fee: There’s also a 3% + $0.25 payment processing fee for each transaction.
Offsite Ads Fee: Etsy pays to advertise your items across the web through Offsite Ads. You only pay a fee when you make a sale from one of those ads. This fee is currently set at 15%1.
Seller Tools: Etsy provides powerful tools to manage, promote, and grow your business. You can use the Etsy Seller App to manage orders, edit listings, and respond to buyers instantly. Additionally, you can create your own custom website powered by your Etsy shop.
Security: Etsy processes payments on a secure, SSL-encrypted platform, with security specialists and fraud detection systems to protect both you and your buyers 24/71.
So, if you’re looking to sell your unique creations or vintage finds, Etsy is a safe and reputable platform to consider!

HOW MANY OF YOU CAN FIT ALL PSYSICAL GAMES IN YOUR HOUSES OR APARTMENTS? i DO NOT LIVE INSIDE A CASTLE AND MOST PEOPLE DO NOT.

(edit)
I am tired of dealing with nonsense of the human race, if Nintendo or SEGA is not getting their money I cannot control ANY of  that. :-\

49,851 is probably what will remain since most video games are recycled and refurbished. artwork and game engines are sometimes purchased and recycled by other video game companies today. Only so much artwork can go into a video game before it needs to be rehashed.

In the future you could make unlimited video games from the sprites and artwork of all the 49,851 video games I have today, and no more programing would need to be required I got everything and somebody knows this on this forum what I just posting in this reply is not any new news to at least 2 people or staff members who attend this forum.

I am not trying to be rude but? what I have you can certainly purchase as well I purchased all those video games some of them from stream my collection contains every style and sports video game imaginable not bragging but why don't you guys start buying the same stuff I have from the site I told you about but the GM says is not a valid marketplace BUT IT IS, Just do research on ETSY.

You can all buy what I have darn it! >:(

BING PULLED UP THE FOLLOWING TONIGHT ON MY OWN ENDS:

(1,181,019) total video games worldwide BING 5-2-2024:

over 5 billion showed up in the search results today:

Total Number of Games:
It’s challenging to pinpoint an exact count, but here’s what we know:
On traditional gaming platforms:

Steam hosts 67,821 games.

GOG offers 4,333 games.

The Ubisoft Store has 265 games.

Nintendo Switch boasts 12,062 games.

PlayStation 4 has 5,366 games.

PlayStation 5 features 974 games.

Xbox offers 3,059 games.

Altogether, that’s 93,880 video games on these platforms.

Mobile gaming:

The App Store houses a whopping 288,153 games.

Google Play Store has an impressive 449,490 games.

Combining both mobile platforms, we get a total of (737,643) games.

However, keep in mind that many games release on multiple platforms, leading to some duplicates. So, the true unique count is likely lower.
In summary, there are over 831,000 games across various platforms, but this number includes duplicates

I have (49,851) owned with some variations and mods

All you need to do is see a brief video of somebody playing any kind of video game and you should know know to play it I run a new YouTube channel under "Oldgamerz Community Links" inside of the "Video Showcase" of this web forum. And, that should give you a hint on how to play some video games but? I do not showcase the controls or spoil the entire video games.

Why read a strategy guide when you could do the game for real? :-\

back in the day they had manuals today that is something of the past but I like to figure  out video games myself in general.

that's just how I am today. But some games I will admit are impossible for me to complete due to glitches or just plain too difficult to play period.

7th Generation consoles any ANY major PC game released between 2005 AD and today in 2024 AD. However the 8th and 9th generation consoles and even the affordable virtual Reality sets have more or less than 5th generation consoles could do. Now the earliest PC games were as equal or better than all console video games of that time back in the 1980's,

But in the mid 1990's till about year 2000 AD. all PC games sucked because A PC would cost about sometimes up to $500USD more money in America at least for a lower powered gaming system if you were to buy a PC instead of a console from  years 1996 AD till about the year 2000 AD.

Upgrades were a rip off back in those 4 years of PC parts and PC's just were the worst gaming party of that timeframe not today, in my own opinion a full bred or built modern PC is the best gaming device you could own from about the year 2009 AD till today.

You don't need the most expensive PC money can buy unless you can get one on sale, but even then We or at least I would like to know what kind of video games do you plan on playing with one, so we could distinguish would you would need to play those game with. I am a retro gamer so I don't need the best of the best to play games with.

Off Topic / Your Own Thoughts On General Entertainment?
« on: May 17, 2024, 06:29:38 am »
My favorite type of entertainment are video games, and music and, shows and sometimes even the television networks, also books when I want to relax and read something interesting, I like photos too but not sick ones. I do like sporting events but my most favorite type of entertainment involves music and video games today. But work is even more important in life because it takes work to build video games and make music and write books and even good photos and artwork is hard to make as well. Without work in place nothing would exist not even garbage or food to eat would exist. I love life but I am not happy all the time. The reason why I try to entertain people even on this forum sometimes is because when other people are happy and free I am also happy and free. But I do not go to negative places on the internet on purpose. Sometimes learning how to do something is entertaining, but school or college in my own opinion is never entertaining at all but sometimes a job is full of excitement and sometimes even entertainment comes with it. I believe in three things in life work, play, and proper education.
