General / A Question About Importing Hardware and Games (edited)
« on: April 21, 2018, 08:08:34 pm »
Please correct me if I am wrong

I know barely anything when it comes to importing other than the fact that you most times when you buy and play a game from another region you might need the same region of the console as the game you're trying to pay. or some kind of different hardware.

So far as of this date I never bought a different region electronic. But I am curious to hear about if you also need a different region television for different region game consoles or alternative house electric plugs since I heard in PAL regions they have completely different outlet designs

As of today I don't own anything not in my own region but I am curious to hear your thought on this

here are some threads before I even joined I found this after I created this thread even though a ran a search

Don't take this as wining

I used to like to cheat and now I hate it. I don't see how so many of you play through a lot of console games. I hate to use YouTube to get through something.

Am I the only one? or are most video games a big hassle to keep up with. A lot of games I always keep in the back of my mind are the video games where you have to do something completely unheard of to get by. not to mention how can you tell if a video game is even possible unless you have a guide. I can't stand for games that require a strategy  guide or a special move to move on. like those NES games where we needed Nintendo Power to beat them because of some secret path that you would never have known was there without those magazines or YouTube

How many people on here, are experienced enough in all video games that you can find a secret path or a special combo all by yourself and not lose all you fun doing so?

Imagine a video game that would require a certain button combo that only the developer would know existed that was required to open a locked section of a game in order to beat it

Or how do you know if a game is not virtually impossible and you don't find out without looking the game up on the internet.

What are some strategies you use that help you get unstuck or avoid glitches that make the game you just started to work on impossible. Let say you backtracked the entire game world with still no luck how do you usually handle this kind of scenario. and think if their was no internet still would you still try to complete the game raw?

I guess im the only person who played all those great wrestling games. No Mercy, Wrestlemania 2000, WCW World Tour, WCW Revenge. I forget the name of the Japanese wrestling game on n64, same engine, but has even more options.

I have all 4 of the american AKI games the reason why I didn't list them is because I have my fill for them I guess.

Was it called "Virtual Pro Wrestling 2?"

 or

"Virtual Pro Wrestling 1?"

in which also meets the AKI japan wrestling game description

General / Re: How good of a negotiator/haggler are you with prices?

Sometimes if you look interested enough, in something. if that seller has been not selling so hot or they are anxious in getting rid of it that day they will automatically give you a cheaper price. then you should take that offer especially if it is a popular or rare complete in box game that is more expensive everywhere else. But only if that is the kind of game you want to buy of course

Whatever you use "DO NOT USE CD WALLETS" always use either DVD or Bluray cases or even Fat Jewel cases of thin ones if you prefer.

CD Wallets leave the  Game or DVD/CD/Bluray unprotected and can even damage them with excessive use never buy the CD wallets. You actually better off leaving the CD Exposed rather then inside one of them wallets from my experience.

guess ill take everything out of my cd wallets....

The reason why I said  not to use the CD wallets is because a lot of times the CD will become sticky and you can actually remove the valuable top layer while taking them out of the sleve  therefore Making the CD permanently damaged with no fix.

You can fix scratches to the bottom layer the shiny stuff. But there is no fix once the top layer peels off. When that happens, your disc is ruined. and even though the game might still work but, if their is any holes in the top layer your game will freeze up at a certain point while playing or watching it

Beware of fire farts

I usually find your jokes funny @marvelvscapcom2 but this is not your best effort in my opinion.

Now your thread about eating spicy foods I thought was hilarious. I think You do however have talent like someone already mention. You probably could earn some money, maybe by writing  a funny novel or 2. or a job as maybe a stand up comedian. I am not trying to insult you so don't take this the wrong way. Your signature always made me laugh I still think it's funny till this day :)

I don't wine about everything. However I do wine about the fact that their are people out there that have no regards to other people and hog all the same copies of games  that people just stock pile on the same exact game just because they can. And leave none for anyone else to enjoy. I am looking at the people who own more then 3 copies of the same game and not really the people who
first stock pile then sell as much

Usally it is the children that wine the most, and teenagers, because they got nothing else to do except wine and complain, but not all of them

No CD WALLETS, it ruins the game. I mean your safer leaveing the games unprotected and open then even to be placed in the wallets

This topic is meant for people to laugh. :) I first heard of the novelty soaps in a joke on YouTube quote someone made a joke about the Xbox Mountain Dew scented soaps as if Microsoft was to say their fans need to take more showers. I mean come on gaming soap? It's kinda hard to not joke about :D

If you had a bar of soap in the shape of a controller how would use it?  would it sit on your shelf? taking up space? or would you use it in a bath or shower? I am not sure how to answer this question though I would hate to ruin it. But if I really need some soap and if it was scented. although If I needed some soap I probably go with a normal bar of soap or body wash how about you?

This is not something new I know, I think controller soaps started with the Xbox controller shaped ones I think

Call Of Duty Ghosts on  PS3 is a decent game in it's single player campaign. But the story was never finished, at the end of Call Of Duty Ghosts campaign from what I remember on my first play through, the villain survived and drags you away and that was the end of the single player campaign.

I never had too much trouble with the dog character in which you can't use too often because the dog will die and if the dog dies you lose and have to start over from a checkpoint

and the game gets harder with one mission navigating through a bunch of hungry sharks
