I received my gift and I want to wait until Christmas to open it, but I'm soooo curious! It's hard to resist the temptation. I put it away in a corner where I don't see it.
Anyone else need some encouragement to keep theirs wrapped for 3.5 weeks? Let's support each other :P

I doubt I'll make it til Christmas, but I left my gifts at home when I drove back to college after Thanksgiving break so I physically cannot open them for the time being ha.

Just as a warning, when you upload an image to imgur and post it on here, it may be huge. So you may need to add width=400 to the first IMG tag.

Yeah, important to mention. You can also set the size to medium or small thumbnail in Imgur and preview it beforehand to make sure the size is right

Got mine today. Opened the box to make sure everything arrived ok... First thing I saw was a Mega Man Amiibo. I would have been satisfied with that! But no. There was a bag of candy and two other wrapped items (which I have not opened) one says "Open Second".
Intriguing. We'll see if I can hold out long enough to open them on camera.
Maybe Retro Reload west coast will be doing a special edition tomorrow evening. :)

Looks like I'll be the first to share a photo. Once again, I got a very generous Santa this year! Got two Wii games in beautiful condition, a DVD, a manga volume, and some candy. Santa also included a personalized letter, which is always a nice touch. Here's a picture:

I'm impressed they managed to find a complete copy of Ju-On for under $40 out in the wild, and RE4 is one of my favorite games of all time. I've never read or seen Black Cat or Yu Yu Hakusho, but I finally have an excuse to check them out. And while I don't care much for Tootsie Rolls, my niece was more than happy to grab one. Thanks, Santa!

You can also edit the size of the picture right in imgur, as you upload it! I did that with my loot photo

I'll definitely say that we have a great community of collectors and players here who love giving and sharing other people. It's really a great community to be a part of, and it certainly shows through Secret Santa. :) I think a lot of us had no trouble going over budget for our recipient.

How was your first semester of college, man?
It went great, I'm absolutely loving it! I get to do one of the few things I like more than video games everyday, learn, in an environment where most people actually care about their education. A stark contrast from my high school outside of the AP and honors classes I took. Earned As and Bs for the semester and made some great new friends. I changed majors already though lol. Switched from Computer Science to a double major in Information Systems and English with a Literature emphasis.
I also opened my gifts today! I may be a bit biased here, but I'm pretty sure I got the best Secret Santa 8). I got some games that have been on my wishlist for a long time now. Thank you whoever you are!

I have received my SS parcel today and pretty sure I got one of the best SS 8) (ofc including the gifts I sent to my recipient :P)
I think I know who my SS is and he probably had a hard time to pick the gifts since the list just came from my wishlist on here (I didn't generate a separate list for SS :-[)

I'm glad you liked it! I really enjoyed watching you open the gifts, it really makes me regret that I couldn't film my own opening. A camera is on my buy-list for this year, so hopefully next SS I'll be set :) And it seems like one can never go wrong with maple syrup :P

yup, karyann is awesome! I keep thinking that she was my first Secret Santa from 2013, but it was actually another Canadian :P I really lucked out, but it looks like everyone got some really great gifts! ;D
