Sounds like next weeks releases might be Screencheat and The Bit.Trip.

Welp.  Sounds like Screencheat and Bit.Trip might be January 19th and Skyforce Anniversary coming January 26th.

Skyforce Anniversary? First one in a while I've been interested in. Played that one on a whim since it was a PS+ freebie a few months back and it was amazing. Definitely would like to own that one.  Too bad it doesn't include the sequel.

Just to let everyone know, I plan to get the thread back on-track next week after taking a little holiday break. 2018 is already shaping up to be a great Japanese gaming year!  ;D

Big update today! Some awesome new additions as well as some new release dates. There are definitely more games on the way that I'm interested in than I will have time to play!   ;D

Does the game have any single player modes at all? That's why I've avoided it.

Is River City Melee any good? I heard DD IV was not...

Not IMO. I imported from P-A and was disappointed - it's just a fighting game, feels like something that should be a bonus mode in a "real" River City game.

BTW if anyone needs Rainbow Moon (PS4) I'm selling mine + the soundtrack. Also have the sticker & postcard that came with it. Everything's sealed. Asking $60 shipped on ebay, will sell it to anyone here for $53 shipped.

Full disclosure, I'm selling the set because I'm gonna get the Play-Asia set next year that has the same stuff & is cheaper - but if you need these for your LR collection, this is basically cost that I'm selling for soooo...... :)

Well, I did it. I finally pre-ordered my first Switch game.

I'm looking forward to playing Atelier Lydie both at home and on the go!

I doubt you'll regret it, it's a great little system that's really starting to work up a lot of support, notably from some big Japanese developers.

Oh, and update!  :D

Another small one, but I did manage to add the hotly anticipated Ace of Seafood that releases today. ;)

Not a game recommendation. but get yourself a hefty external USB3.0 hard drive.

Bloodborne GOTY (I dare say that even if you don't like Souls games, give it a chance because it works differently from other Souls games

I would disagree.  Bloodborne is the same game as Dark Souls, just with some minor differences.  Those minor differences and a more interesting setting is why I like Bloodborne more, but everything else about the game is just straight up Dark Souls.  If someone really doesn't like the core of Dark Souls, there's really no reason to get into Bloodborne.

FWIW I have tried many times to get into the Souls games and just can't do it, but I adore Bloodborne.

Well...I swear I did the update last week, but for some reason it apparently didn't save. :o Anyway, now the last *2* weeks worth of updates are done - for real this time. ;)

BTW, is Bandai Namco trying to kill us?  Ni no Kuni 2 & Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth 2 on the same day???  And then Dragon Ball FighterZ the week after? Yeesh...

VA-11 HALL-A is also Vita only, I need to look more into it to decide if I'll really play it.

Nex Machina looks like Geometry Wars in a different art style.

Think I might pass across the board.

VA-11 HALL-A looks interesting but is a pass for me since it's Vita only. I just don't collect for the Vita, so if I decide to play it I'll be satisfied with a digital copy. But Nex Machina is a must-have, I adore Housemarque and anything they put out is an instant buy for me. Their last couple of games got physical English releases in Asia (Alienation and Matterfall) so I've been looking for one for Nex Machina. Didn't know LRG was putting it out, so that's awesome.
