Yeah, going from S2 to S1 would be a tricky transition.

I knew that Gremio and McDohl joined your party if you had transfer data, but I'm not sure about other bonuses. Since I kind of want to do everything and since Suikoden is known for having missable stuff, I'm just keeping a guide handy as I go through the game. The hero just got named "leader" of the castle. I decided to name it Legendia. Our faction is named Xillia. A little bit of Tales in the Suikoden world never hurt anyone. ^^

Unless I change my mind way -WAY- down the road, I have officially collected all of the Sega Saturn titles I have ever wanted. My copy of Shining Wisdom arrived today and I'm super excited about it. While I'm neck deep in Suikoden II now (things keep getting better and better...also I wish Nanami was a real person so we could hang out) and I plan on playing Atelier E&L after, I am really excited to give the game a whirl when I need an action/RPG.

Nope, Suikoden for the DS. While not nearly as rare as Suikoden II, I had a hell of a time finding it. 40 dollars is a bit much.

I'm getting the regular version of GG Xrd. The bonuses aren't that great from what I can tell. Instead of a soundtrack, it's something called a vocal track? So, hopefully my copy doesn't get delayed. That's really annoying, though. I'm not sure if it's a union thing or a trucker thing, but going on strike now when presents are supposed to be delivered is beyond selfish.

*Camera issues out the yin yang
*Controlling the ivy whip is messy
*Resetting of Keldy's stats at the end of each chapter
*Lacks the "magic" that made SoM and SoM2 so memorable

Beautiful game, though. The visuals rival some I have seen in modern day RPGs.

If anyone here is getting Guilty Gear Xrd for the PS3, you simply must add me to your friend list so we can play together! It'll be out in a couple of weeks and I'm hella excited about it.

I had a hard time finding my copy of it. @_@ Hopefully everyone else has better luck if they wish to add it to their collection.

Great to see all of this praise for it. I'm excited to see what happens next. I really like how Jowy and the hero have a better dynamic than the previous hero and freakin' Gremio. I couldn't stand Gremio. @_@

Suikoden on the DS was average at best. I wasn't a fan, but I think YMMV.

I finally started Suikoden II. The small improvements from Suikoden are already apparent: more sprite animations, fantastic spell effects, quicker battles, more strategic thought for the army fights, better music and more depth for the multitude of characters that are joining. I don't like Flik's new artwork, but everything else about this game has been a huge step up. I'm really anxious to keep playing.

Everyone has been getting great gifts. This has been a really fun thread to keep up with and I'm so glad I participated.

Aside: Dawn of Mana is my least favorite game in the series. That game makes me so -ANGRY- that it almost makes me want to remove the entire franchise from my collection. Seriously, I want to strangle the creators of that game IN THE FACE.

It's a good thing I'm an -AMAZE-BALLS- dancer.

Also, Goodfeathers was hilarious. Goodfellas was epic. Two great things discussed in such a short span of time. Sensory overload!

Great videos guys!  I didn't realize we had so many talented, funny people here. Kinda makes me wish I had a camera... And talent.

I'm confident everyone here has more talent than all of Hollywood.

Also, I have to agree with dark. Jolly Ranchers are much better than Tootsie Rolls. Of course, that's not saying much. XD
