Title: Who is your favorite Mario Kart driver?

I have been using Yoshi since the original Mario Kart but on the DS I love using ROB. It feels great that he actually works!

I've always been a Luigi driver. I don't remember when it started, but all my records on DS are Luigi.

My first pick is always Luigi.  Sometimes I will be Yoshi though.

When I used to play DoubleDash Semi competitively (Setting record time online and stuff) I always played Toad.

mario kart snes: i played it on a emulator and the game made my eyes sore
mario kart  64:bowser or yoshi
mario kart dd: dont have one

Luigi! all the way ever since the SNES Version, however now I do enjoy playing as my Mii

Bowser!  The Biggest and Baddest dude on the block.  The handling might leave a little bit to be desired, and it takes 10 min to get to top speed; but once you get there there's no slowing down.  Keep it pegged and head to the front of the pack!

I nearly always use Donkey Kong.  Double dash was the best, since every time you picked up DK's special powerup, you got to throw another giant banana on the course, which split into three small bananas after it was hit. 

I'd intentionally stay in last place, so I could keep getting DK's unique powerup and just litter choke points with banana peels!  Eventually, someone would scream "who the hell keeps throwing banana peels everywhere?"

And I would laugh maniacally...

I'm genuinely surprised with all the love for Toad. I know in my group of friends if anyone picked Toady they were immediately ridiculed.

Ronalopolis and I actually had this argument last night on Mario Party 9.

He scrambled to pick Toad.

Me: Nope, I'm Toad.
Him: I've been Toad since before I married you.
Me: And I was Toad UNTIL I married you. This sucks.

And so I played as Yoshi...

There is NO way a woman should lose an arguement like that. Just saying. No Toad for you = he sleeps on the couch.

Im glad no one I used to play with liked Toad. Everyone always fought over DK and Bowser.

(despite the fact I used Mii in MKW, Toadette/Paratroopa in MKDD, Wario in MK64, Rob in MKDS, Koopa in SMK and he's not in MK7...)
