Despite how hard it was on the employees, Sonic X-Treme looked genuinely fascinating and it was a take on 3D before "true" 3D gameplay existed. I would love to have tried it to see how it might have functioned.

Mega Man Legends 3. I was a big fan of the first two games and was pretty disappointed when we never got the 3rd game, though it was being made for the 3DS, which was the last system I would've liked to have seen it on. Part of me would still like to see it happen, though at this point, just getting a nice collection with the first two main games and Tron Bonne, with maybe some updated controls would be nice.

I had high hopes for Project Rap Rabbit being made.

Command & Conquer: Generals 2 on PC
WWF Backlash on N64
-
That one cancelled Pac-Man World

So much this. I so wanted Mega Man Legends 3.

Command & Conquer: Generals 2 on PC
WWF Backlash on N64
I didn't even know Generals 2 was gonna be a thing. Reading up on it, would've been neat to have in its original form before they turned it into some weird F2P thing. Generals wasn't my favorite of the series, but it was the last one I enjoyed.

Same. I was bummed when it was canceled.
I'd also add Space Quest 7, and Star Wars 1313

I think some modders tried to make it. Just like Backlash.

Bully 2 definitely.

Jurassic Park Survival (PS2)
There was a JP game in the works for PS2 that was an action adventure. Looks more action heavy than Dino Crisis but I had my eye on it. Then of course, it was cancelled. Looking back on it now, it looks rough... really rough... but at the time those screenshots came out, they could have turned it around to be something enjoyable.

Star Wars 1313, and it's not even really close.
-
The original build of Prey from the 90s. I do not believe this original version ever has been released in any way.
Also would be interested in the original version of The Sims 2 beta which will certainly never be released because it no longer exists.
-
Timesplitters 4 (Allegedly coming one day)
Fear Effect 3: Inferno
Mega Man Legends 3
-
Dead Phoenix (NGC)

Project Berkley, aka Shenmue on the Sega Saturn. There is a decent amount of pre-alpha footage of it online and it looks so incredibly cozy. I absolutely think it was the right thing to do in waiting to release shenmue on the much more advanced Dreamcast, but I'd still love to try this game out just to see all the differences.

I'd of loved to play Fez 2. The first Fez was unique and I really wanted to see what a sequel could add.

You know what's funny?
Metroid Dread (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metroid_Dread) for the Nintendo DS.
It was set to return to its roots, being a sequel to Metroid Fusion. A true shame this never saw the light of day.
That was two years ago. Better late than never, as the saying goes.
Another game that was mentioned in that same topic is Echo Delta (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-x-J62PftDc), which was set for release on the N64, but, albeit completed, was canceled at the last minute. A prototype of the game was sold on eBay in 2006 for $1520 (https://web.archive.org/web/20060717003103/https://cgi.ebay.com/Echo-DELTA-Unreleased-Nintendo-PROTOTYPE-RPG-n64-ED-64_W0QQitemZ260004759145QQihZ016QQcategoryZ62053QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem), and apparently was dumped, but has yet to appear anywhere...or maybe it's well-hidden, floating somewhere in cyberspace.
Speaking of the N64, two years ago the rights and source code for Dragon Sword were acquired by PIKO, the ones responsible for resurrecting 40 Winks. As far as I know, the game was unfinished and a buggy mess, so it seems they have their work cut out for them, especially if we put into perspective that most of the other games they've secured in the past were completed or near completion. Nevertheless, the game looks cool; it kind of reminds me of Dragon Valor.
Another one for the N64 would be a Pokémon game aptly named, "Pocket Monsters RPG" that was meant for the 64DD peripheral, apparently preceding Stadium. As a fan of the series, it would've been nice if it had seen the light of day given the series just now made the shift to 3D.
Lastly, way before Avengers in 2020, there was another Avengers game that was meant to loosely tie-in with the MCU and was set to feature the Skrull invasion. Apparently the game would've also had a few other elements we've seem spread throughout the MCU movies so far, so I'm guessing they got together and agreed not to blow their load in video game form. I'm of course jesting, the game was canceled due to financial problems, so the rights ended up going to Ubisoft and Avengers: Battle for Earth came out of that, which is crap.
And yeah...

Gun Beat https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_Beat
It was an arcade action-racing game developed by Treasure for the Sega NAOMI.
-
Dragon Hopper (VB)- A Zelda-esque adventure game staring a dragon by Intelligent Systems. It was previewed in Nintendo Power Volume 86.
Zero Racers (VB)- F-Zero sequel. It was previewed in Nintendo Power Volume 87.

I had high hopes for Project Rap Rabbit being made.
Same, i even backed it as well :(
My choice would be Hogs of War 2! I love the 1st game with it's hilarious voice overs from Rik Mayall. The campaign was fun to playthrough but that Death Bowl level with the pit is one of the best Multiplayer maps I've ever played! There is concept art but sadly not much els on the development.

Earthbound 64 for sure.
-
• Survival Day Zero for Nintendo 64, it's a cancelled Konami game that was about 70% completed.
•I always wanted to see the port of Heart of Darkness for GBA.
• Project Hammer for Wii.
-
Earthbound 64 for sure.
That still eventually came out as Mother 3, but I would love to play this one as well. It would be more interesting with 3D visuals.

Silent Hills, no question. That P.T. demo still haunts me—Kojima and del Toro together could’ve made the scariest game ever. Also, Star Wars: 1313… Boba Fett in the Coruscant underworld? WHY did they cancel that? Total heartbreak.
