Hello guys!
I love the Zelda series and I'm looking for similar games. I recently discovered this game on Itch.io by chance:
https://mystic-valley-game.itch.io/mystic-valley
It reminds me A LOT of the first Zelda on the NES. It seems it's from the same guy who created Tanuki Justice and Aggelos (which I also recommend).
Do you know any other modern Zelda-like games other than Oceanhorn, Blossom Tales 2 and Ocean's Heart?

Yes. Plucky Squire. Its free for PS5 plus members and has many zelda elements. It plays as a boy trapped in a colorful picture book where the story takes place within the pages. It's a wonderful concept :)
It has puzzle elements, slash elements, plays like a top down zelda such as perhaps link to the past and link betwern worlds. Not plot wise but has a feel of that style.

Tunic is kinda Zelda-like. A bit more dense and complicated, but the similarities are there.

Which Zelda games in particular? I might be able to recommend a few romhacks

Thanks a lot for the recommendations!
I knew Tunic and Plucky Squire, but I never played them.
As for which Zelda game, I like them all, so I accept any recommendations that you believe are good enough!

If you have a PS3 I would check out 3D Dot Game Heroes!

Not sure if you have a Sega Genesis but Land Stalker is an excellent Zelda esque game

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is a funny little game based around the older 2D Zeldas.

The original Darksiders is functionally a Zelda game (3D era), the games afterwards shifting abit more away from that style.
One I heard that was decent, but never got around to was Crusader of Centy on Genesis, been meaning to emulate that some day.
Okami was very much a Zelda styled game.
Mina the Hollower is coming out next year I believe and that's in the style of the Gameboy Zelda games.

Um, Ittle Dew 1 + 2, are pretty much Zelda-inspired games where you control a girl (a teenager in the sequel) and his best friend (a flying fairy/fox), The first game has quite a lot of references to the original Zelda game and you will probably smile seeing them, both games are quite comedic and honestly, they feel like Saturday morning cartoon movies, don't take them too seriously and honestly I found the all the characters quite charming.
That being said, the first game has something pretty interesting, and that is that you can beat the game in under 15 minutes, which is an achievement for the game; the second game is more inspired by Zelda 3 and takes quite a while to beat.
They also go for cheap and if you are playing on Steam there is sometimes a bundle for both games for 1$, so I recommend them if you are feeling nostalgic for the original Zelda games.
