3 more games to reach 100 on the PS1. Makes me wonder what i should get. most of the obvious ones i'd like to have (Resident Evil, Nightmare Creatures) are not just expensive but censored to pieces in the german versions - buying from the UK is expensive as hell and most other countries usually got a localization to a language i don't understand (i made that mistake with COD Black Ops 1, turns out, the french version is french only all around :-\ )
Also since the music thread is a dead body. I also got Mad Villainy By MF Doom and Licensed to I'll by the beastie boys on vinyl format.
Why not resurrect it? I bought around 50 CD's since April ;D

Recently got Crimson Desert. Thought it was gonna be my new Skyrim. But I couldn't stand the janky controls. (Controls absolutely make or break a game for me.) So I turned around and sold it.

Holy Hell this game is hard! I never played the original. Even the NPCs will beat and rob you for talking to them wrong and shake you down just for walking by.

Nothing's stopping you from posting in it, and it may get others to discuss there more. Of course, this is a forum primarily for video games, so there may not be that much engagement.

Picked up my copy of the Gothic remake today, just sitting down to try it out.
Holy Hell this game is hard! I never played the original. Even the NPCs will beat and rob you for talking to them wrong and shake you down just for walking by.
I don't buy too many games these days since I'd rather focus on the ones I already own but still need to play, but Gothic Remake looks fun. I've never played the original game or any others in its series, but this remake seems good from the coverage I've engaged with. Unless I've misunderstood, it seems like a much more traditional RPG in the sense that players will grow in ways at the sacrifice at being bad in other aspects—which is something that I like.

I picked up Soul Calibur II yesterday. It was super cheap and since I'm collecting JP Gamecube already I figured I might as well convert my collection into all JP games so it looks better on the shelf. Looks like it sells for 40+ on Ebay in Canada too, so I'll make a bit of money selling my copy since I only spent ￥1600 on this one (like $14).
I also picked up Zelda 1 for GBA. Just another game for my Zelda collection. I think I might be nearing completing it, there aren't too many Zelda games left that I don't own.

I hit the garage sales this weekend, I even found two console variants I've held out buying hoping to find at a garage sale.
here's everything I picked up.
Wii
As always I find Wii more then anything else. Here's all the Wii pick ups first.
The First find was a Wii, not any Wii a Blue Wii. I have picked up every color of Wii at a garage sale except a blue one.
I see a Blue Wii in it's box with a tag on it for $100 or best offer. A hundred for a Wii is a bit high for me at a garage sale.
I ask if she'd accept $50? She came back with can you do $60, Normally I wouldn't pay $60 for a Wii alone. But this was the color
I still needed in my collection and it was CIB, so I paid the $60.
Another sale I find a Wii and several games, I originally just picked out a 6 games I was interested in and asked how much was the games,
They wanted $5 a piece, Then they said if I took the Wii system too it would be $50. So.. $30 for the 6 games or $20 more I get the Wii too.
Plus it had the Samba Amigo maracas I didn't have. Here are the games.

Next a Find a Wii and a huge stack of games. The Wii they guy wanted $40 for and I really don't need another Wii (plus it looked really rough shape)
But I found several games I didn't have and he wanted $3 a piece, I asked if he'd take $20 for 10 games and he was cool with that. Then we got talking
about video games and I find out he was a Pinball collector. Then he offers to show me his collection. I beautiful collection of about 15 tables and a couple

I had two Switch finds at back to back sales.
The first I ask about games and a young man said he had a controller. He starts looking through totes and pulls out a off brand controller for $4 and
a little baggie with four loose Switch games for $10.

and $10 for the N64 games, threw the accessory in the lot.

Red Dead Redemption
Minecraft
Rockstar shadow-dropped physical copies of the PS5 remaster of Red Dead Redemption about a month ago, so I'm happy to now have a physical copy of that version. Now I can get rid of my PS4 copy that doesn't even run on my PS4 for some reason. I already had the switch version of Minecraft, but it's janky. Once you get a horse, you actually run faster than the world can load in around you. I'll be interested to see if it runs better on more powerful hardware.
