Back in HS made the first of two of the biggest mistakes in my gaming career. I sold my Sega Saturn, and the games I had with it for... $30. The other? selling my NES and all but 2 of my games for it, for $50...
I found a Saturn on eBay, CIB w/ 6 games, 2 3D controllers and a memory card. Games are All-Star Baseball '97, Croc, Heir of Zendor, Myst, NBA JAM TE and Soviet Strike, sadly none of the ones I originally had. Now to get replacements for the games I had for the system. And I'll eventually need to track down 2 light guns and a copy of Virtua Cop 1 & 2....

Nice. Sega Rally Championship and Road Rash are my two favorite Saturn games, and I've been tempted many times over the past few years to buy one up just to play those.
-
Ya I've been wanting to get a Saturn again for a while. Mostly for NiGHTS, And the Virtua Cop games... to bad LCD tvs don't work with light guns... :(
-
Found a couple decently priced auctions for Nights and the Virtua Cop/Virtua Fighter 2/ Daytona USA 3 pack. I'll be set for a while, ha.
-
I've successfully rebuilt my original Saturn collection (plus some).
-
I noticed you have a few baseball games on Saturn. If you never played them, World Series Baseball II and 98 are both worthy additions if you come across them. I haven't found any CIB's offline yet unfortunately.

Ya I'm going to the US release list. I've been buying cheap sporting games as I find them... can't honestly say I've played any of them. I'll look into both of those and give them a play through.
On a side note, the biggest problem is finding games w/o broken hinges. I don't mind a small crack or even a larger crack in the case, but the hinges are a big deal for me. Eventually I'll have to replace some of these cases I have w/ old sports game cases or Sega CD cases. :|

I never had a Saturn as a kid, but a friend introduced me to NiGHTS and I was hooked. When I got my Saturn, that was the one game I wanted for it, and found it for only $14, in box, with a 3D pad. Just a year ago, I find Christmas NiGHTS, complete with the envelope on Craigslist for $25. Very proud of both of those finds.

NiGHTS and Virtua Cop are the whole reason I went after getting a new Saturn, but now I've been hooked on seeing what I missed out on, I was able to snag all 3 Panzer Dragoons for a decent price and I picked up Dragon Force both are getting a work out.
I need to find a copy of Christmas NiGHTS that isn't ridiculously priced.

How many games are you up to now?
-
Not including doubles, 52 I believe.
-
I've been mainly buying lots, but I've snagged a couple decent buys, like Dragon Force. I'm holding off on buying anything else until after we go to CCAG. Just in case there are some decent deals there.
-
gonna sell off any doubles?? hint hint... wink wink...

Prolly, the cases have been cannibalized as replacements for parts that are crapped out in my collection. So all of the cases are pretty jank w/ broken hinges or cracks in the plastic. All the discs are in good shape though.
Currently my doubles are
Virtua Fighter 2 & Virtua Cop from the 3 pack. (w/ Cardboard sleeves, no manuals or original box)
Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball (Complete broken hinge)
Robotica (Complete, broken hinge and minor crack on the back plastic)
Daytona USA Championship Circuit Edition (No Manual, has back art, broken hinges) - Gone
NBA Live 97 (Complete, cracked case and top hinge is broken)
NBA JAM TE (Disc Only) - Gone
-
Here are some more doubles.
Myst (Broken hinge) - Gone
Myst (minor cracking in the back. Broken bottom hinge)

PM me if you wanna sell some
