i just got two pc games from a thrift store but there's is a problem to run it in it best it has to in 256 colors and 640 x 480 i'm thinking a vm would do good but i just getting second opinion also i am using windows 7 64 bit

I ran a VM with Windows 98 when I ran Titanic: Adventure Out of Time for the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. I also had physical copies of the game.
It took a bit of configuring but once I got it working, it was great.
I'm also running Windows 7 64-bit.
