im not shere but i think this is image scaling issue: http://vgcollect.com/item/30714

it did not make it smaller

No issue here. It scales by width. Check out PSP and Saturn games. They look similar.

Yeah, I was thinking it was by width.  Here's another example: http://vgcollect.com/item/30662

(They used an image that had both back and front but it's all one image.)
