Today Wizardry Online Beta sign up finally started!  :D  I have been waiting all summer for this game.  It was supposed to be out this summer, but the website went silent for a long time.  If your interested, this is a great podcast to get up to date: http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/gilgameshs-tavern-wizardry/id546959200

WOOT!  New Trailer!

Beta goes live on the 29th!  I'm going to be watching the twitter really close too... missed out on some beta codes today.  First time I am quitting RuneScape for a new MMO.

Anybody else going to try it out?

I have never been able to get into MMO's but I will probably give the beta a go anyway.

Me too (not big on MMO's).

*BUT*:

I *LOVED* Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land (on PS2) and Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls (at least the bit of it I've played so far) on my PS3!

Can any "big" 'Wizardry-Fans' here tell me if either of these 2 games are similar to the "main" Wizardry series/games?

They are spin-offs in the series and developed by a different company than the originals, but are pretty close to the classic Wizardry games.

I am playing the series in order right now (still on the first one ha:) ) so I have not played the spin-off games much.  I do have a Labyrinth of the Lost Souls demo on my Ipod though and it was pretty fun.
