If disgaeniac was here, he'd tell you to go see his buddy Mike at: www.collectorscardsandgames.com The website is straight out of '96 and to the naked eye you'd think it would be kinda shifty. But, he's a straight shooter, but can be a little slow, since he's the only person there and he has to sift through all of his stock to find things.

I bought a bunch of Saturn games from him a few months ago and it did take a while, but eventually he did get me most of the games I was looking for and shipped them out in a nice package so the cases wouldn't be damaged.

lol you beat me and disgaeniac to this. I was going to post pretty much the same thing. He is great to get stuff from as long as you don't need it in a hurry :)

I just wish he would update his site more often. The last 3 times Ive sent him a list of games I was going to get, he emails me back and says they are all gone. :O

Soera, I'm super jealous that you have Tron Bonne and Widget in your collection.

Matt should help this guy create a database that is easy to manage.

I got lucky and found Widget sitting on the shelf of a local game store for $5 ... even the guy working there was shocked it was still there.

EStarland is a pretty decent site for retro.

One I check from time to time is mtgfanatic.com. It's actually a magic the gathering website (which is why it took me a while to find it), but they do have a video game section. Their prices are pretty average, but sometimes they have some of the rarer stuff for lower-than-usual prices.

For imports, japangamestock.com is pretty good. Not amazing, but almost always lower than Ebay prices (and if you get the famicom or super famicom games loose if you buy 3 you get a fourth free). I've heard good things about gameofjapan.com, but I've never used them yet.

I'm gonna share the websites i use

http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-00-49-fr.html
http://global.rakuten.com/en/
http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/

Also using Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de
But since im not gonna be in Europe anymore i think the fees would be super high.

I've heard good things about gameofjapan.com, but I've never used them yet.

I tried going there last night to look for something and Chome puked a malware warning of some kind at me.

gameofjapan.com are safe and reliable, I use them a lot. The only potential problem is that they aren't very specific about condition so if you absolutely must have spine/reg cards then you're probably better off shopping elsewhere. Having said that though B grade games (which seems to be at least 90% of their stock) is usually in very good condition and includes whatever extras it was supposed to.

My other recommendations are -

Play-Asia: can be expensive, but they're a great "one stop shop" and carry pretty much anything game-related you could want (art books, CDs, figures, etc)
Yesasia: Much like Play-Asia, but with a greater range of Asian DVDs/books/comics.
Japangamestock: Website doesn't exactly look fantastic, but they're reliable.
http://www.nin-nin-game.com : Bought a few AES games from this shop - perfect service, no complaints.
http://www.eurotaku.com : Where I bought a good chunk of my doujin games from
http://www.amiami.com/ : Game selection is limited, but they'll often have preorder bonuses that no one else does. Shipping has to be calculated by them for each purchase but whenever I've used them it's always been reasonable (no sudden $50 EMS ONLY charges on a $5 item) and the packaging is fantastic.
http://www.neoamusement.com/ : Bought a few bits and bobs from this store, including a soundtrack CD. Soundtrack arrived quickly, cheaply, and was genuine so no complaints.
http://www.paletweb.com/ : Great selection of used games and new doujin. Reliable but (apparently) prone to banning people forever for cancelling orders.

Hope those help someone out :)

Just my 2cents, but seriously, this is the most expensive website i've ever seen.
I did order a few items from this website, they're really nice and reliable. But bloody hell the prices are expensive, more than play asia, amazon.co.jp etc.
I heard some people had problems with nin nin. But i didnt have any so i can't say it's true 100%, just heard.

kimimi, do you know any decent sites where I can buy European PC games? I'm trying to locate cheap copies of a few Euro exclusive games.

Well it's not like you can't see the prices before you buy :P

In all seriousness, I see nin-nin-game as the place to go for harder to find items - Konamistyle/ebten/Sega, exclusives, AES games, etc. You'll pay premium prices but as you're buying premium items so I don't feel they're unfair.

kimimi, do you know any decent sites where I can buy European PC games? I'm trying to locate cheap copies of a few Euro exclusive games.

Have you tried Amazon UK? I've never had to look anywhere else - I don't buy a lot of EU PC games and when I do it's never been anything I can't buy from Amazon/Steam/GOG, sorry.

The items I want are sold by marketplace sellers - not Amazon itself. So I can't buy the games. Dangit. :(

Thanks though.

gameofjapan.com looks like a good place to grab some games. I'll have to place an order soon.
Thanks to everyone who suggested it.

Console Passion (http://www.consolepassion.co.uk) is a pretty good site for buyers who live in the UK.

GameBaz (http://www.gamebaz.com/) is apparently good, but their prices can be expensive.
