The demo, yeah, and it's terrible. I'm not one of the people complaining about it because they changed Dante or the game's world... though it IS an annoyance, I can easily forgive that if the gameplay is fun. Sadly, the gameplay isn't fun, it has tons of problems in many regards, like some of the worst controls I've ever seen, lack of a lock-on system (which is part of what made previous DMC gameplay so smooth), too button-mashy, made certain moves impossible to string in combos properly, the dodge button breaks the flow of the game (DMC never had a dodge button unless you want to count Trickster, which I never considered being about dodging)... After playing the demo, I don't even want to rent the game anymore, and I had it pre-ordered before the fact. I doubt Ninja Theory ever played a DMC game before making this, it's like they just made a sequel to that Heavenly Sword game (which also wasn't terribly good) and put a DMC-like skin on top.

Unlimited Saga... I'm tempted to rent it/buy it to see if it's just as unplayable as it was when I played it 10 years ago. I literally couldn't get past the first battle.

Man E.T. never gets any love. I agree it is not that bad of a game, there are a few spots that are frustrating but once you get over those it really is not as bad as it is made out to be.

Much like any video game made based on a film, Cars for Game Boy Advance was a complete POS and waste of time. I used to enjoy any video game I played, but after that one, I started to have better opinions.
It doesn't follow the plot of the movie (which I thought was an OK movie) at all. Keep in mind that this is only the GBA version. Apparently, the game got positive reviews on other consoles

I sure as hell would take E.T. over Football, or most of the Atari sports games. (And IMO, E.T. is one of my favorite Atari 2600 games)

The key to the game is to realize that any pixel of E.T. (even the head) that collides with the pits (dark green shapes, they aren't grass or anything else that some people say) will send you into the pit. This should help:
Ignore the ignorant people in the comments, they just don't know any better :p

I've heard that. I think there was some Youtube video about there listing off 10 unremarkable games with remarkable soundtracks, and Unlimited SaGa was one of them.
A shame for the series as SaGa Frontier II is one of my favorite RPGs with great dialogue and artwork (unless SFII is a fluke in the franchise...?).

Yeah, great character designs - I had no idea they were based on a Japanese franchise. Makes a lot of sense for some of the designs.

I remember having absolutely no direction, and not knowing what was going on. It has the distinction of being the first and last game that I ever purchased based on Box art.
EDIT: Check that, I did it one other time, with similar results.
I played this game a lot when I was a kid, but it's really pretty bad. I still like playing it on occasion though, but have never gotten very far.
I beat Fester's Quest a couple years ago. It should have been so good playing like Blaster Master, but it was sooooo bad. I'm mad that I spent the time to beat it.

Difference being that GnG is a very well-designed fun game, while Fester's Quest has a lot of very questionable gameplay elements. I actually don't hate Fester's Quest, but it's a lot worse than it should be... Sunsoft knew better at the time (just look at Blaster Master), it was odd for them to release such a badly-designed game.

I definitely have to agree with Unlimited SaGa. I made a list of my top ten worst games ever a while back (I'll have to dig it up), and Unlimited SaGa was unquestionably number one. I've never given up on a game within the first 15 minutes of playing it, this game being the only exception. Shame is, it's the only SaGa game I've ever played... :-\

Fighting Force.
I'm going through my backlog and I popped this game in my PS2. I get through the first stage, I think, this is awesome. Then I make it to stage two and lose to the second boss (the truck driver) in ten seconds. What's the use of a beat'em up where your attacks don't stun the enemies? And they can hit you and stun you right away? Argh. I'm tossing this into the trade pile.

Conan for NES. The game is a monstrosity and is broken in every sense of the word. I'm still angry 20 years later for being pulled in by the awesome artwork and the promise of Conan-style skull crushing.
The graphics are horrible, even by NES standards. And what's sad about that, is that the game was released in 1991, the same year as the Super Nintendo, so it should have been a great looking game since the NES had showed us all it's tricks by then. The enemies spawn randomly, and when I say randomly, I mean anywhere on the screen is fair game, at any time. So you could be in the middle of jump, and and enemy will spawn in front of you, which happens pretty often actualyl, and when it happens you suddenly plummet straight downwards like a falling rock to a fiery death below. And the controls, stiff as a corpse.
