Title: NES system - Best place to buy?
Post by: trinitis on December 01, 2012, 04:30:01 am
I'm trying to get ahold of an NES system for my collection.  I'm not sure if I should get a classic one or a top loader yet, but at this point I need to find one that is not insainly priced.

Any ideas?

I would suggest Craigslist. Usually that's where I see decent starter bundles for the best price. I know a lot of people like the top loader, but I'm not one of them. You'll pay more for it and it feels cheaper to me than the original.

I'll just say the obvious answers of Thrift stores & Flea Markets, I got mine recently at my local Flea Market for $25.

I got my second one from a thrift store but am trying to get a top loader. I would reccomend the top loader as well, they might be more expensive but the front loaders are just a pain in the ass. At least once a month I have to take mine apart and fix the pin connector, I know I can buy a new connector but it will eventually do the same thing
