Title: Happy 2nd Birthday VGCollect!

Hey all, did you know that today is VGCollect's 2nd Birthday!?
Yep, 2 years ago today, Matt opened up the site to the public and we started taking in new registrations with the need for special codes and such. It's been a great 2 years too and this year alone was amazing. At the end of 2011, we had the massive database failure and lost a bunch of info, user collections and even user accounts. But we were able to bounce back after a few months following it and saw some massive growth in both user base and database content over the last year.
So thanks for everything you guys do for this site. Honestly without your help we wouldn't be here. Or we would be here, we just wouldn't have all of the awesome content listed, like we do. Happy 2nd Birthday VGCollect and here's to plenty more!

I just realized Ive been here for nearly a year myself. Its a great site to be a member of. Quite a few people here I actually consider friends. Looking forward to many more years here!

Happy birthday, indeed.
Has it really been that long since the best collection tracker around appeared? Makes me think back to the days before VGcollect when I would often discuss my disappointment that no such tracker existed with Byron... and then there it was, everything I could have wanted. While it is surely the best user-driven tracker of it's sort already, it will only continue to get better. Bravo, Pavarotti VGcollect!

Happy Birthday! I'm still quite new, but I already love the site and the community. It's so awesome here, it's seriously the best database I've tried for my collection, and people are so friendly, too. I can't wait to know you all better :)

Happy Birthday and Congratulations! Thanks to everyone who's added even one listing to the site. The community is what makes this place what it is. I've been here about 9 months and this place is amazing. All of you folks are what makes this place what it is. Thanks to everyone for giving me a place to waste time at work!
And I'll take a second to kiss Matt and Scott's ass. Thanks guys. Your hard work is extremely appreciated. Have I mentioned that this place is great?
