Some things I read so far sound interesting... But I'll stay skeptical until we see actual gameplay here, I'm hoping they didn't "streamline" the whole thing.

I'm pretty optimistic. I was a big fan of the Thief series in the old days, and while I'm usually skeptical of this sort of thing, they did a great job w/ Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
