what is your favorite one hit wonder?
for me, its gonna be take it like a man by michelle wright it charted at #10 on billboard top 100 and lasted for 20 weeks

I've loved this song since I was a kid. It just has something special that connects with me.

There are a few others I would have added too : River of Deceit from Mad season and In the meantime from Spacehog come to mind.

Grateful Dead only had one hit Touch of Grey. It was there only song to make the Billboards and it only made it to number 9. It was also the only song they had a video for.
I can remember watching MTV before going to school in 1987 hoping it would come on.

To answer the question honestly, it is Flagpole Sitta. That song is in my top 10. For a LONG time in high school it was my favorite song period.
To pick one that wasn't mentioned. Come On Eileen:
But my favorite is the remake of Come On Eileen by Save Ferris, which became a One Hit Wonder for them.
But I am a huge ska fan. So anything with even a little ska spin makes me happy.
