Title: Thoughts and Prayers, Please

So there's a huge fire burning west of my city, that is still out of control and has burned 12 square miles, with deaths, and structures destroyed.

My uncle's house, where I spent a lot of time with my cousins growing up, burned completely to the ground. He lost everything. It would be appreciated if your thoughts and prayers could go out to him. He's the nicest guy you'd ever meet, he'd give you the shirt off of his back; it's a shame this happened to him.

Prayers and thought going your way, so many fires this year around the country and so many people affected by them. wish your uncle all the best.

Sandy hit my area fucking good & hard, so, it hasn't been that long since dealing w/ my last natural disaster.

Definitely have my thoughts. We had a similar incident here in Quebec recently (at Lac Mégantic, trains derailed and exploded in the middle of that town), so I can definitely sympathize.

My thoughts are definitely with your extended family.  I'm in the Bay Area and all the fires that have been popping up really make my heart sink.
