I am actually super excited for this as well. I kinda got burned out on the series mainly due to the popularity but man, Rockstar makes quality games.

I'm excited to find out more. I've loved GTA since 2 and have played every one since. I also have been a little burned out on the series, and every time I play GTA IV I am super hooked on it and then it fizzles off. I need to play through the DLC for it too, which I bought on sale and have never touched it.

Looks like it'll be set in LA: http://kotaku.com/5853279/grand-theft-auto-v-will-be-set-in-los-angeles-may-star-multiple-characters

Bummer, I was hoping for an HD reprise of Vice City. LA's got potential though. What if they finally released a '70s themed GTA? Oh to dream.

LA...wasn't San Andreas kind of LA based? it was a good map but I hated all the gang stuff.

Yeah, San Andreas was LA, San Fransisco and Las Vegas themed. I also didn't care for the gang stuff, but loved the wide openness of it.

Maybe it's the girl in me....but the only GTA I liked was Vice City, and I think part of that was because of the music more than anything.

Still, my hubby likes these so I'm sure he'll be excited!

It looks reeallly awesome from a graphics standpoint. I was really hoping for a new Vice City, but I'm glad they are playing the Italian mob angle again. ha

It's prolly your standard GTA 3-4 controls, with tweaks to anything that was off. Just like IV improved on San Andreas.

Listen to what the protagonist is saying in the video. Now look at this:

Hmm, I don't know. If it is Tommy Vercetti he has a new voice now since Ray Liotta voiced him in Vice City.

I don't know if they'd reuse one of the old leads. But Tommy V was a total bad ass.

Looking forward to the new issue to see more screenshots of this one...

is it me, or does the middle lead's arms/hands look weird?  Foreshortening is a bit awkward there or maybe his head is too big?

www.Rockstarnexus.com have been keeping up with everything. I also know the owner of the website (Used to make stunt videos there), they're generally a good bunch.
