I just noticed this yesterday - since it was the 1st time that I was entering multiple entries of the same item since "The CHANGE" - that, now...when I click-on the "in collections" tab...it's showing my name 3 times (and counting me as 3 (of the total) # of people who have it in their collections). :o
A minor thing, to be sure -but- it wasn't like that before...or was it?
-
Ya its been like that the whole time. I noticed it back when I got dupes of my castlevania games.
I forget if I mentioned it to Matt or not.

Is this a variable issue? I tend to see that page a lot when I'm popping back and forth to make sure I entered new items to my collection correctly, but I have never noticed this error....

I was looking into updating this but ran into an issue because we also display the "Added" date. I think we'll just have to leave it as it and maybe just change the text since it really reflects how many copies and not how many collections they are in.

*Tries to remember who this "Matt" poster is* :o
*Seriously*, though - good to see ya Matt! ;)
What about *not* having the "added date" there?
Each user (if they really wanted to) could still find their "added to collection date" elsewhere; no?
IMO = it doesn't seem very important for every/anyone else to be able to see what date others added it on...on that page; ya know what I mean?

haha how could you forget me!? :(
Things are finally settling down with the house stuff so I'm back to pushing out some updates. I miss you all. :'(
I agree that the dates are pretty worthless...let me see what I can whip up.

ha yeah my motivation comes in huge waves. I'm the guy who always has like 1,000 different projects. The word "bored" doesn't exist in my world.

That is good to hear.... Administration is a tough job, and I've known many to float away and never return out of laziness....

Not sure if it's working right, Matt...
I just added another Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness strategy guide -and- it's still showing me as 4 separate entries...instead of just as in my collection.
Also, when clicking on its link to Amazon...it takes you to the game's page *NOT* the guide's...

He had to change it back due to the way its listing what each entry contains. The Collections total is correct but now it shows you if a person has the disc/case/manual/inserts.
Here's the thread: http://vgcollect.com/forum/index.php/topic,3880.0.html

Gotcha'.
What about the mis-linking - Amazon's problem?!

I think Matt said he was going to look into it.
