Title: 3DO
Post by: kingrat101 on January 22, 2014, 01:15:38 am
Im thinking of picking up a 3DO, hopefully the Fz-1, I was just wondering what are some good games to pick up?
Im already planning on getting:
Wolfenstein
Trip'd
D
Bust-A-Move
Crash n' Burn
Alone in the Dark 1 and 2
Gex
Im not sure what else to get, what are some underrated games?

Road Rash and Need for Speed are a must!

I haven't actually played one, but I've had my eye on one for quite a while, now. So I've had a little bit of a wishlist built up in case I do make the plunge (but they're getting pricier and pricier, and I WON'T pay over $100 for one of these, not worth it).

What I've heard (or seen) is good and I'd want:

-Alone in the Dark 1 & 2
-D
-Dragon Lore
-Gex
-Need For Speed
-Night Trap (if you're intro trashy horror films like me)
-Road Rash
-Samurai Shodown
-Super Street Fighter II Turbo
-Wing Commander III
-Wolfenstein 3-D

All the 3DO fanboys rave about Star Control II, too. But it just doesn't look like my type of game. I've never been into strategy games much

A local game store has a loose Goldstar 3DO for $60. I've thought about buying it, but I've heard that the Goldstar doesn't play all 3DO games. Can someone confirm this, and tell me which games it wont play? If it is certain games I know that I wont be picking one up.
