For those who haven't played it, I highly recommend it. In my opinion it's the best Sonic game ever made with so much depth in the whole time traveling mechanic. It also has one of the best soundtracks ever.
It'll be out tomorrow on XLBA but is also coming to PSN later this year and Android/Win Mobile phones next year.

I've been waiting for this since I heard it was coming out. Day 1 for sure.

And it looks like we'll have it on Android today as well!

Ha, take that iPhone!

Played a bit of it last night. I didn't understand the time travel mechanic at first, but its pretty sweet, it doesn't seem as fast paced as the Genesis sequels though.

Thing about CD is that it's very exploration based. Using time travel, you can try to find certain machines to destroy in (I think) the Past version of each level, which will lead to modifications in the present and future versions, and a different ending if you do it in all the levels.
Due to that element, it can definitely feel slower than the others. Same with the bosses, some of them feel slower (like the one that you pretty much just have to wait for Robotnik to die) and all of them are super easy which is a bit weird.

Yep that's true. Each past level has a hidden machine that can be destroyed. Maybe hidden isn't the word but you always have to search around for it. Once you destroy it you can travel to the future which will be all cleaned up and pretty.

I find it odd that they left the 10 minute time limit in CD. It took me 9:47 to get to the past and find the machine in zone 1 before rushing to the goal.

The Android version is great. Runs perfect.
