So I was looking and didn't see a topic of this yet so I figured I would make one!
I love tattoos but so far only have 2 video game related ones but am going to be getting a FFX one in about a month in which case I will post at that time. These are pictured from when I got them done. The Tetra was done about 3 years ago and the 1UP mushroom about 4.

Very cool, i love tattoos as well, my left arm is nautical black and grey sleeve, I don't have the balls to get a video game tat haha but yours are very well done especially Tetra
-
Thank you! The guy that did the Tetra one was awesome. We listened to FF soundtracks all day. It took him about 10 hours, that does include food / smoke breaks.
-
I have the FF VII tribal symbol from the beginning of the game on my right calf. :)

I feel you!
Video games & tats are a few of my favorite things - just...separately, I guess.

He just doesn't think anyone could do Etna justice. :P

Oh man, calling out how much he actually is a maniac for Disgaea. I love it!

what is this "scared" word of which you speak?

what is this "scared" word of which you speak?
For my part, I'm scared of growing tired of seeing the same design, and/or the thing it represents. I know my likings and opinions change a lot, so I prefer to stay as I am than risk regretting :P
-
I'm not a tattoo person, but I've always thought about if I do ever get one, it's going to be a stylized version of the Zelda crest across my upper back. It's been done lots of times, but it would be a really nice looking design. Second choice would be the circular Samus icon, probably on my shoulder.

I find that the things that were important to me while I was growing up, don't go out of style for me. I have a Fallout tattoo because I played a lot of it while I was home schooled. Despite what I think of the games now, they meant something to me during that time.
My next tattoo will probably be an Earthbound one. I don't think I'll ever stop enjoying that game. I have a lot of memories associated with it.
Besides that, mine are all located on the back of my shoulders so I don't have to look at them all the time if I don't want to :P

That'd be subtle but instantly recognizable!

All very good points! :) It's true that something that has a deep meaning that hasn't faded with time, is likely to stay interesting for a long time still.

I know, right = just seems kind of trollish to take the time to post in a thread when the entirety of your comment/contribution is:
"Ewwww...you all gross me out" :o

My mother's getting a Yoshi tattoo soon, maybe I should post it too when she does :P haha. I think she has 6 or 7 right now. She said she'd pay me my first tattoo for my 16th birthday, and I'm still waiting to claim this gift. Maybe someday :P

Oh man Yoshi tattoo that's awesome! I would definitely hold her to that, if you want one of course.

Folks, just keep all photos PG, allright? We don't want anyone getting in trouble over them.
I'm personally not a fan of tattoos and most piercings in general, and as such I'll stay in the sidelines. But again. Keep it classy. Please.

No butt tattoos? :'( Just kidding :P
Any Earthbound tattoo is an awesome tattoo, except for the lame ones. Sorta off-topic, but not unrelated question for those who've gotten tattoos before. How can you tell the good, legit tattoo parlors from the sketchy ones? Most of the ones in my area seem a bit off. :-\

I asked around first and went to a place that a couple of my friends went to. Sorry I can't be anymore help but I would say just ask around.

First thing I look for is if the tattoo artists have tattoos themselves. It's kind of like a skinny cook. You want someone that loves what they do. Other than that, if there's generally people in the parlor, that's a good sign. Also, they are usually more than happy to show you their previous works.
That'll generally get you an idea.

Yeah, but I'd go for the more metallic version, like this:

I like the metallic-looking one better, too
*BUT*
I also think that the metallic one looks too much like a "Spidey" insignia, though.

Sorry but when I saw that I thought this, not Samus so much.

After a long delay, I finally got pictures of my tattoos.
Because Kenny asked so nicely, they're safe for work :P

hey another home schooler! high five!
on topic, I have no tattoos and I'm not sure I'd ever get one. I don't really have anything against them (they don't gross me out or anything :P ) I just don't think there's anything out there that I'd ever want etched permanently onto my body. All that being said, Bobster, that Bloody Mess Perk tattoo is pretty fucking awesome!

^This
If I could take them off, I'd have full sleeves. I think tattoos are awesome, I'm just too non-committal. There isn't anything in my life that I'm 100% sure I'll want all my life. The only thing I would do is if I ever get my black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, I'll get the Gracie Barra emblem on my inner bicep.

Traditional forums are places to voice opinions. There's always going to be a b-hole like me who disagrees with.... anything. I didn't really mean to troll. There's nothing really wrong with tats, they just don't sit well with me.
