Title: 3 New 3DS XL Styles Coming to US (2 Are Gamestop Exclusive)

Like the title says, 3 new 3DS XL styles have been announced for the US. The Smash Bros. one I think was already announced, but the other 2 - the Gamestop exclusives - are definitely new:

Unnnnnggggh I want both the NES and Persona Q ones! But it's so mean because these most likely aren't the "NEW" 3DS XLs...
(most likely because I know they released the Persona Q one in Japan previously)

Yeah, I'm of the same thought, really sucks w/ the new system on the horizon. If I do get one of these, I won't be buying that for a LONG time. But I honestly don't know how much it interests me anyway - I'm skeptical that we'll see many games that require it.
EDIT: I had the NES GBA SP back in the day and sold it, and I've been kicking myself over it ever since. I kinda see this as a way to right that wrong. ;)

You should be able to transfer your acct and games fairly easily. There's a how-to on the Nintendo site: http://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/227/~/how-to-transfer-content-between-two-nintendo-3ds-family-systems

I bought the NES GBA SP from a friend of a friend ages ago, and I'm really glad I did. That SP was the first thing I thought of when I saw that design!

Heh, I have the opposite question - I'm thinking about leaving the 2 digital games I own on my 3DS so they will help it sell for more, but I want to make sure I can get my account info off and still leave those on - not sure if that's possible.

Wow, more new 3DS models to the market. I wouldn't be surprised if I found someone who was trying to collect every variety of these consoles, because I could see the different console variations becoming an interesting set to collect.

You can preform a system transfer and move all the content from one device to another. With the whole new Nintendo Network, or whatever they're calling it, you might be able to download any game you purchase as long as you are logged into your account on that device. I'm unsure however because I do not own two 3DS's.

I know you can redownload the ambassador program games if the system was registered for it anything else I don't know. I bought my first one used that's how I know that's possible

Just the front. It's supposed to look like the cover for the Persona Compendium. It looks the same on the front as the version Japan already has, except Persona Q and its soundtrack CD actually came bundled with the 3DS in Japan.

That's a placeholder date - whenever you see a 12/31 date on Gamestop, it means they don't know the release date yet. I expect it will be out no later than the day Persona Q comes out tho.

Yeah, I got the idea it was suppose to imitate a book cover. I love the back. I kind of wish the back cover was the front cover. I wish we got the Sound track with it.

I got more excited about the box more than anything, with the NES 3DS XL. The more I look at it, the less impressed I actually am with it. It just looks like they slapped a sticker on the front of the 3DS.

It really does look like they put more effort into the box than the 3DS. I'm quite unimpressed as well.

Nintendo of America is acting so stupid, it pisses me off :-\ They say they don't bring us limited editions because we don't buy them, and then they release 3 (4 if you count that the Smash Bros one has 2 possible colors) OLD models, when they've already told us that NEW models are coming. OF COURSE they're going to sell badly compared to when they got released elsewhere... >:(
The new 3DS are going to perform better, which means that some games (already mentioned is the Xenoblade remake) are not going to be playable on older models. Not many people will want to pay the same price for an outdated system that can't play every game. :-\

I know Black Friday/Cyber Monday has good deals but I'm not willing stand outside for hours. Sorry I believe my time is more important, however I do like Cyber Monday for computer parts to further change my current build (HD,SSD, Monitor,GC, and etc).

Haha, I don't do the actual brick & mortar sales - I'm too lazy to be up at 1a or whatever waiting for 7a to roll around and be trampled and disappointed because I didn't get some lousy piece of electronics. However, online retailers have some nice deals and flash sales that only come around once a year, if not even less often than that, on that Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
