It seems like it, because the original Mahjong was a launch title for the Famicom, and for the Famicom Disk System. Somewhere along the line, a rare Hong Kong variant was released for that market which has different boxart than the japanese version and has a us version cartridge, which means it can be played on a NTSC console. Its pretty rare, so I could see someone charging a high price for that, but I don't think its really worth it, since its mahjong and its way cheaper to get the orginial Famicom and FDS versions, or just play it on a Japanese copy of Animal Crossing.

The guy claims there has only been 4 boxed copies sold and it went for 40000 dollars. Who was the NES collector on here he's got another one to add to his collection.

With so few out there, the seller is probably known if legit.
