Title: PS1/PS3 question

I know the PS3 is mostly region free. I want to get Mega Man X3 for the PS1 which was a PAL exclusive, will it work in my NA PS3? I know it shouldn't work in my NA PS1.

It will not. PS3 games are region free (with a couple exceptions), but PS1 and PS2 (on earlier models that supported it) games are still region locked even if you play them on your PS3.

If you have a PS2 the Megaman X Collection includes X3.
