Hey everyone,
As I begin wrapping up Final Fantasy Tactics here I have no idea what game I should play next. So I'm gonna ask you all and start a thread where we can request others to select our next game to play. You can put any boundaries of what you want up next or what you will do (video reviews, etc). I plan on doing a written review for every game requested here once I complete it. So there we go. I'll submit my official request in the next post as to keep the OP clean if we want to modify it!
How are we supposed to know what games have already been played by the person doing the request?
Someone can provide a list or let you know if they have played it already. Or they can specify that in their post.

If you want a good racing/platformer for GameCube then try Crash Tag Team Racing, very fun game. You can pick it up pretty cheaply too!

This was definitely intended as "Pick a game from my collection for me to play" lol

For Tafk (from your collection) based on what I'm curious about:
GBA: Golden Sun
GBC:Pokémon Pinball
GC: Lost Kingdoms
NDS: Rondo of Swords
PS1: Battle Hunter
PS2: Radiata Stories
PSP: Valhalla Knights
Wii: No More Heroes
I left off some of the consoles because I don't know those libraries well enough to give a suggestion.
Also, nice work on getting those rare Fire Emblems!

Pick one out of those. I'm not letting you pick all of em ;)

Ah, I missed the part about each person just picking one only. NDS: Rondo of Swords then.

I think someone needs to unwind with a spin-off of one of Nintendo's treasured IPs
... Hey You! Pikachu!
If you do choose this, you should also report you experiences with your new Pokemon friend.

I'll second Golden Sun. So good! Still one of my all time favorites.

Considering that you just played one of the biggest time-sucking games ever... From your Collection list and making an assumption that you completed everything about Final Fantasy Tactics, I think these games would help you wind down a little.
GBA: Dynasty Warriors Advance
GBC: Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue
GC: Burnout
N64: Gauntlet Legends
NDS: Rondo Of Swords
PS1: Disney's Tarzan
PS2: Freedom Fighters
PSP: Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron
Dreamcast: Virtua Tennis
Genesis: X-Men
Wii: Fortune Street
-
Wii: "Fragile - Farewell Ruins of the Moon"
-
I'm getting a funny feeling that tafk is going to soon have a bunch of new & different games vying for his attention & to become his 'Next played'...
Just a feeling ;)

Wii: "Fragile - Farewell Ruins of the Moon"
Ooohh, Nice choice. This is a really nice game to envelope yourself in the aesthetics and story. Just don't expect anything too groundbreaking from the gameplay.

I agree, the gameplay department offers nothing groundbreaking at all. In fact, it's the game's biggest pitfall. But, dat story tho! After getting use to the controls I found myself really drawn into the story and the ending left me with so many feels. But really, it's a great game if you haven't played it yet. I recommend it to anyone.
Another good Wii game is "The Sky Crawlers." Based on a novel and film by the same name. Great anime cut scenes and fun air combat. Really blew me away, and you can find it really, really cheap. Got it for a few dollars at GameStop. True hidden gem.

GBC: R-Type DX (http://vgcollect.com/item/23268) - If you like space shooters this is a must.
GBA: Metroid: Zero Mission (http://vgcollect.com/item/2588) - More than just a remake of the original game.
GC: Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader (http://vgcollect.com/item/2215) - Great visuals and decent gameplay.
N64: Goemon's Great Adventure (http://vgcollect.com/item/5009) - 2.5D platforming follow up to Mystical Ninja
DS: Mario Kart DS (http://vgcollect.com/item/3316) - One of the better additions to the MK series in my opinion.
Wii: Super Mario Galaxy 2 (http://vgcollect.com/item/9224) - Best platformer on Wii hands down
Kinda funny that no one bothered to look through your collection before recommending you games to buy... :P

Definitely didn't see that quote about one game only. In any case... Pretty cool collection, tafk!
-
This thread didn't go the direction that was intented at all haha.
-
Ok, I think my few suggestions I'm gonna take are
NDS: Rondo of Swords
GBA: Golden Sun
N64: Gauntlet Legends (god I wish I had 3 other people to play this with though)
PS2: Radiata Stories (gonna do an FU review of this because its in my top 3 and NO ONE talks about it)
-
Radiata Stories was a fun game. It didn't take itself too seriously yet still managed to keep me involved. I really like how the game paid homage to other tri-Ace (may it rest in piece) titles. Good choice; prepare to lose another 80 hours of your life if you intend to do it all.
-
Fine then! Do it! Pikachu didn't want to hang out with you anyway! ;D
WHY DON'T YOU LOVE PIKACHU?!

Oh I've beaten it like 3 times. Love that game to death. I'm gonna do a NG+ on the Non-Human side and follow a guide to actually recruit everyone for once.

WHY DON'T YOU LOVE PIKACHU?!
Because the Mic is calibrated for higher pitch voices and Pikachu doesn't list to me :(

Playing with a lower pitched voice, that's like playing on hard mode

I have too damn many PS2 games. Can someone pick three games out of my collection that are must-plays?

In alphabetical order, my 3 choices for your collection are:
I-Ninja
Mega Man Collection
Odin Sphere

Beyond Good & Evil

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (we could play-through together)
Sly Cooper
Zone of the Enders
-
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness
Persona 3 FES
I removed BG&E -not- because it isn't good, but - because, having never played it...I don't know if it is.
The other/next 2 games (conveniently pre-prioritized + pre-ordered (in the order that these 2 games must needs to be played :P) by a scholar & a gentleman; named "abe")
are/should be 'givens' & "no-brainers" 8)
I haven't, will not be, and don't need to look at your collection to strongly back these two titles ;)
It doesn't even matter what other games you have!
These two games (*plus* anything that you may have) and if you don't, you should - by any + all means necessary, remedy that A.S.A.P. :o (with the words or titles of "SHADOW HEARTS" -and- the word or title of "WIZARDRY"); keeping in mind that we're only talking about PS2 games (followed by the 5-word-string of words "Tale of the Forsaken Land)"
should/Must, by default, be played before anything & everything else that you may currently own ;D

I briefly looked at your collection ... long enough to see you dont have DQ VIII and as such, I cant recommend anything else. Its seriously the best game on the PS2.
