Anyone interested in pinball games? I don't get it, what's the appeal?

I like 'em, but I suck at them.

I'm the same way.

I really enjoy them, though.  I gave Rollers of the Realm a try on Steam, and it's a pretty cute game.

I'm a fan. I can't go past one without dropping a quarter in it.
I'm not good, but I have fun.

Pinball can be really fun if you know how to work those flippers. I'm good at some pinball machines, while others are just not fun for me.

Yeah, the Pinball FX and Pinball Hall of Fame games are fantastic. And one of my earliest favorite games was Pin-Bot on NES.

Yeah it counts. It's about keeping the ball out of the hole right?

I played the crap out of the Pokemon Pinball games.  I picked up Ruby/Sapphire again a few months back and was dismayed to find that I barely remembered the names of all the pokemon  :-[

I loved pinball before I loved video games. My early arcade memories are from the mid-late 70's when arcades were still mostly pinball machines with a few arcade games scattered in between. My brother was really good, he could play for an hour on one quarter and watching him make that ball dance was amazing for a kid like me around 7 or 8 years old.

Video pinball is one of my favorite video game genre's although I guess you'd put it in the "simulation" category along with pool/billiards and Atari 2600's video pinball, although not even remotely a real pinball simulation, remains one of my all time favorite video games.

Pinball FX does a very good job of mimicking the "weight" of the paddles and utilized the vibration function well (at least on the 360).  I'd def recommend it to anyone interested in pinball videogames.

I recommend Sonic Spinball. It's a decent pinball game on the Genesis.

I like pinball a lot! There's a Star Trek table at my local arcade that I like to play whenever I'm there hanging out. :)
