I thought Amazon was going by barcode or something but neither of those have their barcodes in their record.  Totally bizarre.  Anyone have any insight on this?

I plugged into the product search api so it actually searches by "item name - item category." As you can see it doesn't always return the proper results but through all my experimenting it was the most effective way since we don't have all of the upcs.
