Title: Image Upload - Resolution Changed or Maintained

Hi guys

Liking the site so far (fits in well with my time spent at Discogs, Bibliogs, Filmogs and HobbyDB)   :D.

I am currently adding my Playstation collection to the site, updating release pages as I go with new images and information.

I scan a lot of my images in (at quite a high resolution), but I see that a lot of the uploaded images are being resized (quite small in my opinion). I keep all my scans for backup reasons, but I was wondering if I upload a picture at say 600x600 does it get stored on the server with that resolution, or are they being stored in the resized format?

It gets stored in the smaller format. I don't believe we keep the large sized scans.

the original uploaded file is not saved. At least not to my knowledge.

Fair enough, are there plans to change the image resolution to a larger size?

I could be wrong but I seem to remember someone talking about it being upgraded in the future. (I hope so too.)

Awesome, well you've got my vote for bringing the resolution up!

I will hold onto my scans as normal, and re-upload once the new resolution is supported  8).
