Title: Newly entered item not showing up in database

For some reason, the site is again not updating new entries to the database correctly. I posted the item Zippy Race (Cartridge Version B) again this evening, and it shows up as blank with no text and no images. http://vgcollect.com/item/90402

this is probably going to sound strange but how large of a file are you trying to upload for the cover art? I may be mistaken but I seem to remember an issue where If the image files were too large it would basically do what your entry is doing (creates a blank item). In one of the introduction threads there should be some information on file size limits that may help

I was able to submit edits to all three of your broken entries.

For now make edits to any of the entries listed above without uploading an image. I want to see if images were the cause of the problem.

There is a 2MB file size limit on uploaded images. There is also a jpg and png format restriction. Try to resize your images if they're over 2MB. If you're unable to do so upload them somewhere and I'll try to get them to work.

Okay! I edited the three entries with some text. It very well could be the image I was trying to attach..  :o

The edits went through. Update the entry to whatever you were originally going to create. As I mentioned before: leave out your pictures for now.

Okay, thanks! ;D I edited one with the correct info minus the images. Curiously, this item allowed me to edit the entries for "Publisher" and "Developer". However, why is it that a newly entered item in the database says "(not working yet)" next to these fields?  ???

The fields do not currently work when you create an item, but they do when you edit it :)

I just noticed these two "Thunder Blade" entries exist for the Master System (JP). http://vgcollect.com/item/86525 and http://vgcollect.com/item/40968 should be merged if possible.

EDIT: I just updated the correct link address for the second one.  :P
