I'm not a huge NES fan, but regardless this project looks very interesting and it was created by famous gaming youtube celeb, Pat Contri, aka Pat the NES Punk. The Kickstarter shows some cool sample pages and it promises to be the best, most comprehensive guide to the entire US NES library. I'll probably end up pledging at some point, but I thought I'd leave this here and see if anyone else is interested in grabbing a copy. Link below:

I am a fan of the CPU podcast, but i really only like Ian... Ian could seriously start his own show with someone else and i would enjoy it more. Pat is a self centered ass hole, so i am sort of hoping this will fail so he gets his just desserts.

I've had a couple of chances to speak and even hangout with Pat at a couple of cons. He's a cool guy. I'm looking forward to this book. It's nice to see a labor of love from a real NES fan.

Pat's cool. The book looks awesome, but with international shipping it'd end up being way too expensive for me.

Agreed. Pats a man child, and his entire career is dedicated to desperately riding the coat-tails of more popular reviewers for his own personal gain. It's virtually impossible to see any presence of him on the web where he isn't ass kissing someone.
Ian on the other hand, he knows what he's talking about.

Cool that it'll cover some PAL exclusive games. Seems really well-made!

This is great. I would love to have both the physical and digital copy. It would actually be helpful when I am out there buying NES games. Thanks for the heads up. I wonder if he would ever consider doing other systems as well. I would love a book like this for Sega Saturn games (Japanese and English titles).

I always find it hilarious the CU Podcast is so freaking polarizing. Either people Love Pat and Hate Ian or the other way around. No one has any sort of middle ground I feel like.

Well I like both :)

If they made a book like this about the PlayStation, I would be all over it like stink on $hit.

Then lets make a book like this about the PlayStation?!?

I put in my backing for a copy. Looks like a good book and a real labor of love put into it. I think Pat and Ian are swell fellas. People who think otherwise, have you met them personally? How can you say they are jerks if you don't know them? :P

I tossed a favorite on it to see if I want to back it in the future. Its really cool but I have never owned an NES and I'm a little to young to feel the nostalgia for it. However I respect this book and would love to back it.

I like both! ;D One of the best podcasts about in my opinion.

Wow! That book looks really well made! I'd like to see one with this much detail for the original PlayStation.

It seems they only want to talk about controversial stuff. I've never liked the show because it likes to kick up the drama with those things. I'd rather watch a straight hardware/game review show.
But he does seem like a genuine fan of retro stuff, nonetheless, so I'm sure he'll do a good job on the book.

Well have to admit that the idea looks pretty damn good to be true anyway am more interested in get a copy of the NES Book from Dylan Cornelius (http://questicle.net/2014/06/the-nes-book-is-coming-and-i-need-your.html), why ?, because this mothafucka has reviewed all the NES library at his page (http://questicle.net/), even when I didn't knew about him started to follow his reviews (a little late) and share some comments at the comments sections also it was because of him that I decided to add some extra titles into my collection like Rockin' Kats (http://questicle.net/2013/04/537-rockin-kats.html) or even the almighty Bucky O' Hare (http://questicle.net/2011/04/104-bucky-o-hare.html) ;)
