Title: Classic arcade and console compilations - What all is out there?
Post by: razorbeamz on February 02, 2016, 12:43:18 pm
I'm looking to collect every "classic game compilation" that exists. Not necesarially a copy on each platform it's released on, but just a complete collection of collections. Please tell me what I'm missing:
Here's what I have. Things in Italics I don't own, but plan to get soon:

GameCube
PS1

PS2

PS3

Wii

Xbox

How about Kirby's Dream Collection and Super Mario All Stars for the Wii?

For Gamecube, Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition and Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time/Master Quest.

For PSP, Capcom Puzzle Collection.

For Xbox 360, Capcom Digital Collection (I believe this had a physical release as well).

Rare Replay for XBOX One, The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return for Wii, The Ratchet and Clank Trilogy for PS3 and the Game & Watch Galleries/Collections are all good compilation games.

On Xbox 360 there are the Konami Classics Volume 1 & 2. Volume 1 has Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Super Contra, & Frogger.
Volume 2 has Contra, Rush N' Attack, & Track & Field.

On PS2 and PSP there is the Sega Genesis Collection. Though I think most of the games included are also on Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection.

On Wii there is the Dragon's Lair Trilogy.

There's also A Collection of Classic Games for the Intellivision for PS1. The Special Color Editions of Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man for GBC came with Pac-Attack and Super Pac-Man, respectively, although I'm not sure if you would consider those compilations.
