Anyone else going to the Midwest Gaming Classic in Milwaukee?
-
As much as I'd love to, that's a hell of a trek for me to make and on such short notice, I wouldn't have the disposable income to burn on stuff I'd see that I'd want. :P
Maybe next year. ;)

Nope but be sure to post pics for us

Too midwest for me.

No direct flight and too long a drive, unfortunately not.

I really need to go to a game convention one of these days. I really wanted to go to the Classic Gaming Expo in Vegas, but of course it got postponed indefinitely once their regular venue closed down. They started one in Colorado last year, but from what I heard it was pretty lame.

Whoops, wrong thread.

I'll be there once again with my work Johnny Cee Cards in the Vendor hall! We will have a big blue banner so come say hi! :D

Ahh a five hour drive for me: not bad at all! Too bad I have school and finals :(

Ooo good idea! Now I just need to coerce a friend to come with me and I'll be all set! :)

back from day 1 on the Midwest Gaming Classic and I only bought 5 games and an empty box. I'll post what I got tomorrow.
Here's some cool stuff I saw.
First something that made me do a double take, a guy was selling a Coleco Chameleon Dev Kit for $12,000 :o
I was thinking how the hell did he get this... And after talking with the guy I find out he custom built it himself and even put the exact Video card board that was faked in the pictures. He said it had a emulation board underneath the fake one. Funny thing if he was asking say $200 I might have bought it just because of all the bad history this console got, a joke in my collection so to speak. lol

When I went into the Museum I saw the original Ralph Baer's Brown Box (the prototype to the Odyssey 1) the first gaming console ever made. It was even signed by the late Ralph Baer. Just cool to see it.

And last something I was shocked to see in the museum. The legendary Nintendo/Sony Playstation. :o

Those picture from the museum are great. Incredible pieces of gaming history there.
