Title: Killer Instinct Definitive Edition for Xbox One

For those interested, Microsoft will be releasing Killer Instinct Definitive Edition for Xbox One on September 20, 2016.  The retail package (a disc - YES!), contains all of the content of seasons 1 - 3 as well as Killer Instinct Classic 1 & 2, an original soundtrack and a gold Gargos skin which is exclusive to this package.  There are also some obligatory extras like trailers, character art, etc.

The entire package will retail for $39.99 which is a nice price to get all 26 characters, 20 stages and two classic games.

Not that I'm a big fan of KI, but I've been waiting years for this.  I knew Microsoft would do this.  Now I just need to wait a little longer for it to hit the bargain bin.

Since it's related, the 8th character of Season 3 is being announced during Top 8 at EVO tomorrow.

Hell yes!
I'm glad I waited so now I can have it on a disc! I only played a sample of this game I really enjoyed it but I didn't like how they were distributing it. they did make a retal release but it only has 8 characters from the earlier seasons so I didn't bother to get that.

looks like I can add another game to my want list for the XBONE when it creeps to under $60 someday (hopefully soon).
