Battle of the N64 FPS :D.

Doom 64 all the way. Atmospheric soundtrack, great level design, and great redesigns on all the classic Doom monsters.
-
I don't know if I played Doom 64. Goldeneye has the initial nostalgia for the system, but Perfect Dark is way better. It simply gives way more options and variety. I'll say Perfect Dark, even if everyone from that era that played recognizes "Slappers Only" or "Golden Gun" still lol

Doom 64 controls are definitely easier to go back to than Goldeneye or Perfect Dark's. Its just bizzare to play a FPS without either twin sticks or keyboard and mouse. I have tried a few times and sadly I just can't go back on Goldeneye or Perfect Dark. =(

Doom 64 for me as well and its due to the controls. I did love golden eye perfect dark back in the day but damn doom was good as well!

What's funny is I remember when DOOM 64 first came out everyone was shitting all over it like it was a terrible game. I bought it around that time and while it scared the shit out of me, I thought it was a very cool game. With thta said, I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as either Goldeneye or Perfect Dark. In fact, Perfect Dark is a top ten game of all time for me. I probably rented it 8+ times before finally buying my copy and playing it for hours and hours. Don't get me wrong, Goldeneye was in regular rotation around the time it came out, but I honestly feel like Perfect Dark bested it in every possible way. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Perfect Dark! If you haven't figured it out already here is my list.
1. Perfect Dark
2. Goldeneye 007
3. DOOM 64

None of the above?
Jokes aside, Goldeneye since it was the go-to multiplayer game until Smash Bros. got released.

Doom 64 all the way. I liked Perfect Dark but never got into StinkEye 00-negative. It's funny really - the top 3 N64 games and I hated them all:
Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
Super Mario 64
GoldenEye 007
Bleh.

Weird but not unheard of. The Early 3D games on the n64 were and still are love or hate affairs. I've been on the fence of selling my N64 collection for awhile. I never play it. I have no desire to relive that part of gaming history.

Goldeneye, always love me some Goldeneye.
-
Doom 64 no question. Graphics were unnecessarily dark, but it was atmospheric and spooky, even more so than the PC versions.
Goldeneye was ok, but didn't really impress me, especially since I had already played much better FPS's on my PC, like Doom, Doom 2, Quake, and Duke Nukem 3D.
I rented Perfect Dark once and it was just meh, didn't motivate me to buy it.
