Charmander, Squirtle or Bulbasaur? :D
I pick Squirtle
-
Charmander. Always Charmander.
-
Squirtle. In fact, following Misty's footsteps, all of my Pokémon were water Pokémon when I first played Red.
-
Squirtle. Eventually became a powerful badass Blastoise :)
You don't forget the first team you beat a Pokemon game with. I finished Pokemon Blue with Blastoise, Dodrio, Dugtrio, Onyx, red Gyrados, and an Electabuzz which I never used (like the 12th man on an NBA team :))

Damn right!
Blastoise, Vaporeon, Articuno (I know it's not water, but I couldn't say no), Lapris, Vileplume (also not water...I needed something with Cut and Vileplume is adorable) and Tentacruel. Good times.
-
I don't remember the first team I used to beat a pokemon game. Actually, to be quite fair, I probably used Charizard and only Charizard. By the time I did the Elite Four my Charizard was over 75.
Also, Red Gyarados wasn't in Pokemon Blue.
-
I remember my first team to beat the elite four.
Venasaur, zapdos, lapras. venasaur took out everything almost by himself zapdos was used for the water one and lapras was only used once.
-
Squirtle has been my go to, since back in the day.
-
Also, Red Gyarados wasn't in Pokemon Blue.
Ah, you're right. That was Pokemon Gold.
It was Articuno, not a Red Gyarados. I remember now that I used my Master Ball on it by accident because I didn't know at the time you only get one :p
I guess you DO forget your first Pokemon team :p
But hey, it was almost 20 years ago so I get a little slack.

Fun fact about Kashell's Triumphant history:
When I was a freshman in high school (which WAS NOT that long ago) I gave a speech on Pokémon in my English class. Not only was it fun, I got the highest grade in the class on it.

Was it more than 10 years ago?
-
Always went with Squirtle. I was a Ninja Turtle fan, still am, so I always rocked "Leonardo" lol First one I went with in Pokemon Go too.
I don't really remember my team, though it was probably a fairly basic mix based on just the Pokemon I like...if I had to guess...Blastoise, Charizard, probably Zapdos over a Pikachu or maybe Pikachu, Onyx, Dragonite, and probably Gyrados.

Remind me sometime to tell you about my "How To" speech in Oral Communication class in college. It was only the 3rd 100% the teacher had ever given.

Bulbasaur
-
Charmander on my first Leafgreen run.
My bro picked Bulbsaur on his first playthrough, but got stuck at the Elite 4 Drake because he didn't catch any good pokemon, so his starter was only Lv.58.
-
Bulbasaur, just always loved him since I was a kid. Even have a plush one sitting on my computer desk.
-
Cyndaquil
-
Bulbasaur <3
-
first time squirtle because someone else decided for me because i was indecisive. i had blue. they said, pick the cover 'mon. so i did.
bulbasaur for life tho.

Bulbasaur with PokeBlue, I was young and focused all my effort on that one pokemon, hahaha. Ended up like lvl. 93 Venasaur while the rest of my party was maybe 30-50's. Good times. Some of the best times I've ever had with a game, in fact.
Totodile 2nd gen. My favorite gen. The games were incredible. As much as I loved gen 1, gen 2 will always be king in my heart. There was something seemingly sinister and dark about that game for whatever reason, maybe had to do with my mental maturation and realization that these animals were meat-slaves lol. Odd side note; I found a working pokemon crystal cartridge at the bust stop in school. It had been stomped on a few good times but still worked. Must have been fate.
Torchic for Emerald, my second favorite in the series. Although I love the game overall I couldn't really get into the starters for whatever reason.
D/P, Piplup. Empoleon is a boss. This was the last gen I played all the way through.
Tepig for what little I played of B/W. Really need to pick that game up again.
I have not played X/Y. Hopefully I can get hardware before Sun/Moon comes out, it looks pretty sweet. Probably pick Litten, 'cause come on....its a kitten.
Damn, now I want to play Silver.
-
Charmander, because why wouldn't you pick a fire-breathing dragon?
Nah, Squirtle is cool too, I picked him at least one playthrough of the original games. Bulbasaur is cute.
-
Charmander because Charizard was the man on the box. Well that until I got Alakazaam because I was one of the random kids that owned a link cable. Alakazaam is still my go to pokemon with every game I play breeding a perfect one (Abra) for Sun and Moon. My first time beating the game was Alakazaam Charizard Gryodos Haunter Victrebel and Pidgeto.

Charmander, Cyndaquil, Torchic, Turtwig, Chespin
