I found Persona 3 FES & Shadow Hearts: Covenant stacked with each other in my local CeX ready to be displayed in a cabinet. I had no money on me at the time, I felt like it would already be gone by the time I came back tomorrow. Persona 3 FES was already priced at £40, pretty much retail price.
I checked online, they had 9 copy of Persona 3 FES across all their stores, Amazon & eBay listing £50 at its absolute cheapest, there certainly was something satisfying about find these games in person, Collector mentaility? Wind Waker with Bonus disc & Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes were also on display. I didn't want to shell out for all of these, so I went in the next day and Persona 3 FES was no longer in the cabinet, not on the shelves with the other PS2 games, I told a cashier about the situation and luckily it was still behind the counter and I claimed my small victory for the day, it was in pretty good condition too with manual included
Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil has been on the store shelf for a while now... story of my life.
Is FES still that pricey? I got a sealed copy for like 15 bucks last year.Look up the PAL version, It's a lot more valuable in Europe, that £40 one is the cheapest I've ever seen it. Pretty similar story for most PS2 RPGs. I believe the PS2 price creep is in motion right now

Gotta test out a few of these since a few, ( including the DC stuff) were pretty heavily scratched. But I got a few of my wants for my collection bumped out of the way.
Spot The Video Game was another one we rented back in the day. I actually forgot completely about this game, until I picked up a different Spot game last week, and I realized I didn't have this one in my collection.

Kagero is one of my most sought after PS1 titles right now. Very nice pickups :)
I don't have the same disposable income I once had. It's been quite a long time since I last posted here.
Picked up a complete in box Super Mario Brothers!

Had some great finds last weekend from garage sales and even beat out some resellers to get a couple game lots.
NES
Then the next week I see a sale Advertising "Video Game Consoles" I had no idea what systems this was going to be. I was expecting PS2, PS3, Wii, XB or XB360. Now this week was labor day weekend and there wasn't a lot of sales going on and boy did the resellers come, there had to be over 20 of them. I think I saw most all of them I knew, including Slick & Mr. Mustache. The lady running it would not open til 9 sharp and they started to pile up against the garage door. Again this door had little windows at the top and I was able to look in. Slick learned this from last time and was looking in too. (most everyone else was too short to reach the windows.) I could see a box in front of me and I could see the RF box for a Nintendo system. It was across a table right in front of me. Slick also saw it and he was right in front of the open path. I knew He was going to be the one I had to beat. (lol) The lady comes out and tells everyone to wait so she could pull out some stuff. Everyone agreed (but I knew these guys wouldn't) The garage opens and I see Slick dart in and I reach out with my long arms and snatch the NES box before he could get to it. But he grabs the box next to it. Then rest of the resellers charge in and start scanning the PS2 games (mostly sports from what I saw) It was like a shark feeding frenzy. I look over to Slick's SNES lot and it only had 3 games and was marked at $30 which looked like all sports games. I see him complaining to one of the other resellers that I got the better lot. My NES lot was $40 and I just paid and got the hell outta there. Here's what it came with.

Pretty decent haul from the regular stops.

Nice pickups. I can never find the FF Chocobo's Dungeon on Wii at the price or in the condition I want. It's either jacked up in price or is missing the book/insert is water damaged/etc. :(
Gamecube:I think shortly after my brother moved out of town, one of his trips back to town I asked him to stop at a Gamestop in a small town on the way here, because the site said they had the bongos.
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat
Donkey Konga 2
2x Bongo Controllers

Store said they shipped off all GCN stuff a long time ago. He insisted that they check. They really didn't want to. Eventually they gave and went and checked. Came out with CIB games and 2-3 Bongos. Paid like 25 cents an item.
Double post:
Just got my copy of Retro City Rampage DX with the PSP box but was a little dismayed to see that they threw in the PSP box, PSP box art, and PSP manual for it, but all separated out. Guess they didn't have time to put the artwork in the case and the manual inside of the box...
So if you're expecting it, be careful how you unwrap everything.

Finally found a cart for my Rocket Slime after losing my copy, so I included it as well.
Got Loco Roco for PSP from Goodwill and got Sin & Punishment for N64 in the mail from a fella on Facebook.

Found a bunch of hard to find DS games today. Probably went a little overboard, but some of these I've never seen in person until today.

Oh man... What an amazing haul. I'm outrageously jealous of that My World My Way. You find these out in the wild?
Today was my pick up of the year I've been wanting something like this for a while. A few of you have already seen it on faceworld.

It's a retail Nintendo cabinet. I can put all kinds of shit in there behind those 3/4" locking glass doors. The pictur doesn't really do it justice. It's nearly 8ft tall. It's huge.
I'm really pumped on this one.
Just dropped off my PS3 back at the repair shop.
Hit a goodwill nearby.
Picked up a stack of loose/complete DC games and a bunch of CD-i games.
Spent less than $20, and in the stack was a copy of Dino Crisis for DC. Going to go through the bag later.

End of the month haul, very happy.
