Title: Items that only have 3 characters (Such as 720)

I simply could not add this game into my collection without finding someone else that had it and clicking quick add. Is it possible to adjust the search engine to all 3 characters? :D

I have used the Browse feature to find games that the search engine can't help me with.

Yeah, searching can be a pain sometimes.   I just use the browse feature instead.  It takes a little more time, but it is way more accurate.

An easier alternative is to go to Google.com, type "site:vgcollect.com 720" in the search field, and it'll show you the page for the game.

I'm going to lower the limit down to 2 characters.  I really just wanted to prevent people from harvesting data.

Ya the 3 characters makes fixing all the games with The in the title harder too. Ha

I think I may have brought up the same issue because of 720 too, and sorry to hijack the thread but I'd like to point out the 720 I added back then doesn't appear correctly any longer. I had put the degree symbol in it and although it originally worked, now it shows a question mark. Not sure if that will mess up searches as well; I suppose it the symbol isn't needed. If you click on the item history of the entry it does actually still show the degree symbol. http://vgcollect.com/item/19367

Fixed. I recently changed the encoding type to standardize everything. If you ever see a strange symbol like that just edit the game and resave it. This will trigger the database to update that entry to the correct encoding.

The limit has been lowered to 2. Feel free to search for all of the RBI, 720 and...whatever else you couldn't before.
