I'm sure you guys are aware of this, but I thought I would bring it up just in case.
I'm getting some edits sent in for developer and publisher even though I didn't submit an edit for that section. Like how here it says I tried to change the developer/publisher to nothing. I think it's happened a couple times now.

Not sure what's going on there
EDIT: It seems to happen whenever I submit a platform edit. There have been three instances now where I change a platform for a game and it sends in a developer and publisher edit. It just happened with a GBA handheld.
-
We saw it start last week when the submit item and edit pages were changed for those fields. It is being looked into.

I figured you guys were aware of it, haha. Just wanted to make sure in case you guys thought I was sending in a bunch of weird edits willingly or something ;)
I think I'll just stay away from editing the platform of a game for now; from my experience that's what's been sending in those extra edits.
-
Its not. It is any edit where the developer or publisher is set at "select..."
-
I've been getting the same except all of the pub/dev edits are denied usually saying the information is already on file, but I'm not changing them when I edit something. I also noticed the dropdown bars now work for Pubs/Devs, at least on my browser they do. This happened a lot last week, I haven't really noticed any this week.
-
I guess it depends on who is going through the queue.

Hasn‘t this problem been fixed yet? I just received 16 publisher and developer rejections (“Information Already on File”) even though I made no attempt at modifying those fields. This occurred while working on the PSP UMD Video [NA] section.

It has been fixed. You should not see this issue any longer.
