I buy most of my games on Amazon or ebay (mostly for retro games). Usually on amazon I can easily buy 15/20 games for less than a 100$, so that's why I use it a lot.
I rarely buy in game shops, but if I do it's almost always at Micromania or Game (two french Game shops)

My usual sites are:

https://www.videogamesplus.ca
http://www.play-asia.com
https://solarisjapan.com

and lately have used jjgames.com for used PSP/PS2 games.

I sometimes hit up gamefly.com for sales. They've always sent me quality used games with the booklets, and artwork. I only use gamestop.com whenever they're running good deals or discounts on new games, and whenever they have a special pre-order. Too often they've gypped me out of the artwork, and booklets. I can't stand the GS cases on my shelf.

This place called Games to gold is really awesome and where i do most of my buying when i go out for summer hauls :).  Fairly priced and friendly staff.

But 90 percent of my buying comes from  www.ebay.com  just because of simplicity and cheap pricing.  I never over pay and i usually get great deals from the comfort of my home :D.

Probably my favorite haunt. I don't get to go to it very often about every 3 weeks. It's not my weekly haunt like Pulp Reality and Super Game Team. But I never leave that place unhappy. These days I get a lot of my games from trades. Wife seems happy when I ain't spending money.

I mostly buy my stuff at Book Offs or Hard Offs which are part of a huge chain of stores that sell any kind of used stuff around here, from books and games to clothes and liquor.
Apart from that, I also really like the BookMart, Takarajima, Takarasoko and A-Two chains. Since I live in Nagoya, sometimes I like to go to Meikoya, (the famous) Super Potato and Mandarake, but since they usually know exactly what they are selling, it is almost impossible to find a good deal there.

But, by far, my favorite shop is the Recycle Shop Hajimari. It is a very small, messy, dirty and smelly shop and the owner, Yagi-san, is always smoking inside. However, it is a paradise for retro gamers! I found most of my treasures (including gems like The King of Fighters 98 (CIB) for the Neo Geo CD, Star Parodia (CIB) for the PC Engine and my ultra rare Game Processor RAM Cassette for the Super Famicom) there and never paid more than the equivalent to US$5.00 in a game there.

If anyone happens to come to the Nagoya area someday, definitely check this store out!

I can safely say you'll probably never find a deal at this place

I have specific sellers I buy from online at ebay and amazon.  That's where the majority of my stuff comes from as of late.  3 or 4 times a year I'll make a drive to a town over and hit their game store when they have a sale.
