What summer movies have you seen so far this year?  What has been your fav?

I've been scrimping and saving what little bit of extra money I can get to go to Portland Retro Gaming Expo and San Francisco Comic-Con this fall.

So unfortunately, I've been patiently waiting for everything to come out at RedBox.

The last one I actually went to see was Power Rangers. Which was a pretty damn good update to the original show. The only complaint I had was that it took a little while to get to the action, and the Zords looked a little to 2000s Transformery. But the special effects and costumes were fantastic. The story was great, more detail to the origin of the powers. And they did a great job making the characters more realistic.

Baby Killer has been the only good movie I've seen so far this summer. Most of the other ones i saw ( The Mummy, War of Planet of the Apes, etc) have just been pretty disappointing, so I've mostly been watching older stuff whenever I'm at home.

Saw spiderman homecoming on Sunday, it was pretty good!
