This is what i've got during the past two weeks (so most of it were brought during July but i'm to lazy to make two different post for it ;D).
PS2:
Chicken Little: Ace in Action
Forbidden Siren
Giants Citizen Kabuto
God of War II - Special Edition
Herdy Gerdy
Riding Spirits II
Sniper Elite
Socom U.S. Navy Seals - Platinum
Virtua Cop: Elite Edition
World Series of Poker
PS3:
Star Ocean: The Last Hope - International (the 13th Star Ocean in my collection, i think i will try to get the Japanese PS3 version of SO5 next since it didn't get a release anywhere else on that system)
Steins;Gate (I waited for more than a year to find a good price for the Limited Edition, i think i don't really care about it anymore since when i've seen the normal edition for 3.99€ in a used shop i didn't hesitate to buy it)
PC:
FEAR 2
Hotel Simulation
Ori and the Blind Forest - Definitive Edition
Painkiller: Hell & Damnation
Sam & Max - Season 1
Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of the Mummy
Two Worlds II
Xbox:
Metal Dungeon
Spectrum:
I was in a garage sales and while i don't usually check for casette my eyes were attracted by the one that was on the top (it was the music from Ken le Survivant, the French name for Hokuto no Ken) so i still checked them to see what else he had and i found 5 ZX Spectrum casettes. Usually i wouldn't have bought them since i don't own the system but for the price (20 cts each, 1€ for the six) plus the fact that it started to rain and the guy absolutely didn't care about protecting his stuff from it i decided to take them with me, maybe i will find someone to give them to.
Airwolf
Daley Thompsons Decathlon
Horizons (Software starter pack)
Hunchback II: Quasimodo's Revenge
Tank Trax
Skylanders: (I found a used shop where the skylanders were at 1€ each and it was a Buy 3 get 1 Free offer so i took four that i didn't had)
Chill (Series 2)
Grim Creeper (Lightcore)
Roller Brawl
Star Strike (Lightcore)
I also got a Dark Souls III cover Plate for the PS4 and this morning my young niece given me a Sonic Mug and a f*cking huge Pikachu plushie, my birthday is coming next week and she wanted to give them today since she will be leaving for vacation tomorrow.

Today one of my dream items arrived : The Dragon quest XI Loto edition PS4 console. Man, they really went all out on this beautiful system!
-
I think I created a monster. Close friend of mine brought a NES and Dreamcast today because he really enjoys playing my systems and wanted to start his gaming collection. Poor bastard. So after dealing with house stuff I decided to take him to my favorite haunts. Ended up in my favorite haunt 40 miles away. So happy when I move it's still only 40 miles away. He brought couple games for each system I figured since I was there I should probably buy something too and the wife didn't mind either.
SNES:
Tiny Toons Buster Busts Loose
Gamecube:
Pac-man Vs. Pac-man World 2 Player's Choice
Scorpion King Rise of the Akkadian
Sega Game Gear:
Tom and Jerry the Movie
Woody Pop
Sega Saturn:
Nascar 98
Sega Dreamcast:
Centipede
PSP:
Ape Escape On the Loose Greatest Hits
-
I got some games that I've wanted to play for quite some time now.
PS2:
Yakuza
Winback: Covert Operations
Jak II
Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando
Exterminator
Steam:
Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition
Super House Of Dead Ninjas
Quake 4
The Evil Within
On a side note, I'm really loving Yakuza so far. I would love the game even more if it weren't for that annoying camera during battle.
-
Man it's been kinda a busy week for gaming with me. We ended up going to Zanesville since we are going to be only living 8 miles away from that. I haven't been in Zanesville in like 15 years since I lived there. The wife wanted to go to antique stores and find fiestaware pieces she didn't already own. As we got off the interstate we saw a buncha table in a parking lot on a side street. Stopped to check it out. There was a guy there had 3 folding tables full of games from 2600 to Xboxone. I'm sad I only had 20 bucks on me I couldve left with a full table of stuff. I ended up picking up 3 games I really wanted for only 17 bucks. Talked to the seller said he sets up every weekend. So here in a few weeks I might see if he's still around.
NES:
Base Wars
Simpsons Bart vs Space Mutants
N64:
Kirby 64
Xbox 360:
Destiny
Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare

Drove down with some friends to Miami yesterday to go to the Play Nintendo Tour that is traveling around the country. Mostly just to get Nintendo swag like the thermos, and then we went to some game shops in the area. One wasn't good, the other much better. Also went to Arcade Odyssey. Top notch arcade place. Small, but good. At the better game shop, I got a free box for Worms Armageddon because the game was missing and then decided if I'm going to get back into classic game collecting, it's just gonna be boxed and one system, so it'll be Nintendo 64. Not amazing prices on them, but comfortable enough to grab and they were in nice condition and CIB.

That's a pretty cool thermos.

That's a pretty cool thermos.
It's a pretty legit thermos. Apparently they are going for like 35 to 40 bucks on ebay already lol

Got another solid batch of 360 titles to start the month off:
360:
The Black Eyed Peas Experience
Guitar Hero Live
Guitar Hero Van Halen
Indianapolis 500 Evolution
Motionports: Play for Real
NBA 2K16
NBA Live 07
NCAA Football 07
Need For Speed Hot Pursuit
Nickelodeon Dance
Operation Flashpoint: Red River
Ski-Doo Snowmobile Challenge
Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition
444 titles remain...
Card/Board:
Monopoly Gamer
What I'm happy about with this last batch is that I have completed another letter of the 360 library. I now have every NTSC title that begins with O. Still got 24 letters to go though!

I'm trying to cut back this month and purchase as little as possible.
Amazon is assisting with that. I made a few orders and they proceeded to do me a favor and destroyed the items during transit.
So far this month the only thing I've acquired is Far Cry Instincts: Predator (360)

ouch... same package as your animal food comes in again? are they easy to get refunds on at least?
Im also boring only game I have received this week is:
Binding of Isaac: afterbirth (switch) mainly so my fiancé can play it finally.
-
Went to a Half Price Books clearance sale and found a couple of $2 Strategy Guides including ones for Dynasty Warriors 2 (PS2) and Shinobi (PS2). Found a ton of comics (probably went overboard in that regard :P) and a Jampack for PS2. Hit up a place called 2nd and Charles after that and found the following CIB PC Games for $1 each...
Create
Daycare Nightmare
GunMetal: War Transformed
Galactic Assault: Prisoner of Power
Victoria: An Empire Under the Sun (already owned :P)
Found a copy of Pro 18: World Tour Golf for $4 and a shrinkwrapped Wii Sports Resort for $4.95. I wondered why they were selling it for so cheap and I didn't realize till a little bit ago that it was mislabeled as the original Wii Sports. ;D

Yes, actually. They shipped it with my subscribe and save stuff, but when I say "destroyed in transit" I mean, literally destroyed in transit, the tracking says undeliverable (Destroyed in transit). I called and got realllllllly angry with them because they didn't even tell me or refund me or anything. They refunded my games and made a new order for all of my subscribe stuff to be resent to be delivered tomorrow. They refused to replace the games though, so they just gave me my money back.
-
Just another little batch today:
3DS:
Bravely Default
Yo-Kai Watch
Skylanders:
Sensei Starcast
Also, on the digital front, I've now acquired my 70th Green Confetti Unusual for Team Fortress 2, a Trophy Belt. Still have a long, long way to go to claim the largest singe-effect collection though.
-

This is one of those rare "Adult" Japanese games, I made the seller an offer so low I thought it was going to be rejected but he took it. I honestly can not figure out how to play this game. You spray a water gun on a girl and after I run out of shots I loose and nothing happens. I tried watching youtube videos but even those show nothing. I'm guessing I need to know Japanese to read the manual. lol

I'm jealous theflea. I wish there were places around me locally where I could get most of those hauls. Half-Price Books may be my #1 go to and they have a decent enough selection they are no where near capable with some of the stuff you've got there. 8)

I have a used media store that's usually good about prices. Most all the Genesis games CIB I picked up where under $6. Including the sealed one. (in fact they have a few more copies) And I couldn't believe they had a non-sports game priced at .99c and it was one I needed. I few collectors I know always want me to take them there when they are in town.
They did have a change in management and some times their prices can be over. But most older employee's try to keep prices lower then Ebay.
They seem to get a lot of obscure games and sense all their competition (except Gamestop) has closed shop they get most of the trade ins when it comes to retro now.
Maybe next time I stop in I'll take some pic's and show you guys what it looks like. (you might see something you want) lol

It was released in the US as well, though it is about $80-90 here.

Wow, sounds like a pretty good source you got there. All the "retro" stores around me are hideously overpriced and full of repro's--some of which are made in-house! Its rife with fraud and insane prices so I just avoid them all.
I'd love to see the pics of this place. :) Do they ship? LOL

At least it looks nothing like the original. :P

You looking to keep it or sell it?
I only post stuff that I keep not for sale
It's pretty common maybe uncommon and not expensive I would recommend ebay if you need one in your life ;)
If it hard to find in your own country there are ebay sellers in europe wich list one for around 20 $ more or less, shipping to the US/ worldwide is only 8 dollars from europe for standard postage, business sellers can even ship for less in this weight category.
@ The flea
Legend is kinda pesky name for a game, so simple yet really hard to find thanks to this name, also a ps1 title with such name wich makes it hard to find in the search listings.
-

They are shady indeed. I know they sell on ebay just don't know their ebay store name to report them. They almost burned me on an SNES game but when I asked to see the PCB they refused.

I assume so, I haven't opened it.

As far as I'm aware, Fangamer fucked up big time and are just now shipping out this stuff. I got my Mighty No. 9 plushie of some character shortly after buying my house 2 years ago... the game about a year ago... and now the rest of my pledge.
2nd that :o

Great eitherway
This directed at me? Yes, I have all of the Wild Arms strategy guides on purpose. I also have the Wild Arms Advanced 3rd Premium Box imported from Japan. I also have the entire Wild Arms Twilight Venom Anime box set. I REALLY like Wild Arms. I considered acquiring all of the Wild Arms manga, but I don't read Japanese so it'd be wasted on me.
The only other franchise I've gone to similar lengths is Timesplitters. I own a copy of every game on every available platform and the respective strategy guides.

N64:
Virtual Chess 64
360:
Bolt
Cabella's Big Game Hunter: Hunting Party
Lego Avengers
Zumba: Kids
Turbo: Super Stunt Squad (Was worried that I'd have to make a 5th attempt to get this game when it didn't show up with the rest of my order, but they just shipped separately for some odd reason)
439 games remain...
PSN:
Undertale
Also got another set of shelves for my games, but I haven't gotten it built yet.

Finally got something I've been hunting for a couple years. Borderlands 2 GOTY for the PC. Apparently so few were made because of Steam (I hate Steam LOL). I'd love to find out how rare it actually is. Prices have ranged $40-60 for a sealed one the last couple years so I feel fortunate to get it for $20. :D

Yeah as nice as having something you want to keep in perfect condition is, these games were meant to be played and I wouldn't want to pass up on the chance to actually play it. The game isn't sealed or anything, and I intend on keep everything that comes with it in the box, but I will probably use the cartridge itself. It just has everything in box, in near perfect condition ( i didnt see any damage on anything whatsoever )

7th copy?
Yup, 7. I've got more to go. When I like a particular series or specifically a game I like to collect all variations of it. I'm going to also be working on Oblivion and Fallout 4 (have all 3 versions of it now then I'll need to get the GOTY...). I've hit a roadblock but also collect all things Final Fantasy XII.

I hope so. I rather like Bethesda a lot. :D One of only 3 publishers/developers I really want to support based on their love for the fans and respect of the consumer.

That is a well-used GBA-SP. It's worn in all the right places. Mine isn't in much better shape, and I play the hell out of it.
-
Time for another round of pick ups.
Mostly a bunch of Limited print games came in the mail.
"Pop" Classic Arcades
I found the rest of the mini arcades I needed, just missing #01 which is just a B&W version of Pac-Man.
- Space Invaders
- Asteroids
- Frogger
XBone

XB360
Stopped at a thrift store and saw a XB360 controller for $6. It didn't feel like it had any loose/broken sticks or buttons and figured for $6 I can't go wrong.
PSP
These came into my local used game store.
- Mega Man: Powered Up
- Mega Man X: Maverick Hunter
NDS
My local used game store got in this and it was a lot cheaper then online.
- Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Wii
This has to be one of the rarest Wii games in NA.
- Mr. Bean's Wacky World
PS2
I've always heard there was a sequel to Mr. Mosquito released in Japan only. So I found a copy dirt cheap.
- Ka 2: Let's Go Hawaii
SAT
My local used game store got in a stack of Saturn games. These where the only ones I was missing all priced under $10.
- WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game
- NBA Jam Extreme
- Fighting Vipers
SNES
My local used game store got in a game I was missing but it was in pretty bad shape. I looked online and saw one going for cheaper and in great shape so I just bought it.
- Super Adventure Island
SFAM
While I was looking up Super Famicom games I saw that this game was going for cheap. Kinda surprised seeing that most "cute-em ups" are pretty pricey.
- Cotton 100%
I took pic's of the used game store I go to, I'll try and have a post of it up sometime.

I picked up Mega Man Legacy Collection for the Xbox One last night at Wal Mart. I been wanting this game since it was announced awhile back. Started to play it last night and realized I somehow still know how to play Mega Man 7 and 8. I haven't played those games since I was in high school and that was a long time ago.
-
Picked up a few PS3 games recently all for $2.69 each. The second Brink is for a buddy of mine. Wii game was 1.79.

I'm finally joining the modern age of retro gaming:
(http://oi67.tinypic.com/214a3km.jpg) (http://oi67.tinypic.com/6xpyy0.jpg)
I love that I'm now able to play any region game without the use of adapters, compatibility issues, or not knowing the language (you can upload language patches to the system!) Having built-in Game Genies with all the codes pre-loaded is awesome, too (well, you have to download the file off the site, but no biggie.). But I think two best parts are being able to finally play Game Gear games on a TV instead of that terrible Game Gear screen. And being able to play Sega Genesis and GB/GBA games with a Super Nintendo Controller! (It does suck that my Master System controller wasn't compatible, though. The original Genesis was compatible with any controller that fit the port. Genesis, Master System, or even Atari 2600 joysticks.)

First of all congratz :D
Language patches seem interesting is this for every japanese game or only for certain games for wich these patches have been made. Many especially uncommon games and japanese rpg do not always have a fan translation, I'm curious or is it just all automatic.

Congrats mate! I love my RetroN5. Don't listen to any of the internet hate, it is a great system, especially since you didn't get a launch edition. I'm interested in that adapter for GG and MS though, where did you get it?
Just in case this may be of value to you... (http://"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6COKS657n_4") My guide on how to convert any inserted cartridge to any other game on that system is below. Though this was in Jan 2015 I imagine you can still do this method now since it is really a method using the translation patch feature.

I haven't even tried this yet, I was never into imports, so that may be down the road a bit after I play with the system for a while. From what I understand, you have to download the patches from your PC and upload them to your system via a memory card. So it's just the ones that are out there on the internet.

I got it on eBay. But you can buy it off of Hyperkin's website, too.

I expected that answer but maybe there was something different would be pretty nice, I have been doing this for a couple of games myself but only if it is available. Maybe in the future they have a patch that it might apply for all games Automatically
