I I always wondered what it would be like to be in the mood to play, memorize, and master each and every video game in the universe. and live long enough to do so. SO what's your list. Here is mine

Geez you had got through that darn stealth mission on Red Faction 1 where you are stripped from all you guns and you have to stealth through and then an even harder mission without cheats, that is pretty impressive ::) or did you mean Red Faction 2? how many tries did it take you to successfully navigate through the stealth areas.
I mean I suck at stealth and by looking on YT I see now that strife walking is the way to go. great job man ;)

These days, I always wind up looking at some sort of guide or another. Generally not for walkthroughs though, but either for reference (i.e. what levels a character learns moves at) or to make sure I don't miss an achievement, as missable achievements on a 50+ hour game suck. The sole exception has been the Skylanders series, but that's because I was the one writing the guides.

Mega Man 2 - 6 I could beat those in my sleep. Can't say the same about Mega Man 9 & 10.

A lot of mine were mostly due to the fact that I didn't have the internet or guide books whenever they were released. Others were pretty straight forward RPGs.

Well basically most anything before 2000 for me outside of a couple games like Ocarina of Time, where I had a guide at the time, but I play most games without going for hints. Once in awhile I get stuck on something extra hard puzzle wise or just annoys to me much, and I'll go look up a walkthrough for a hint, or if it's just something too hard to find, like in Final Fantasy XV, if you want to find something specific, it'll just take too long to find it on my own, or if I'm missing something in particular. Like in Horizon Zero Dawn, I beat the entire game on my own, but I wanted to get the special endgame armor and I would never have found the parts otherwise for it, so I looked up a walkthrough just for that.
