Title: Weird SMS Black Belt cartridge

I have a copy of Black Belt for the Sega Master System. Sometimes when I turn it on, Black Belt shows up, like normal. Other times though, the Hang On & Safari Hunt combo shows up. It doesn't seem to have a pattern. It's just random. Does anyone know why it does this?

I believe it has more to do with your console than with your cartridge.
The first models of Master System had Hang-On and Safari Hunt as built-in games. So, if the cartridge is not properly inserted, the console will usually play the games that are already in it, right?

Thanks. Just tested SMS without Black Belt, and the combo cartridge showed up.

Depending on the model, some people had Snail Maze built in.
The SMS II usually has the classic Alex Kidd in Miracle World. I believe later models had Sonic 1.
