Title: Shelf View and New Normal do not do anything?

Whenever I try to change the layout it all just stays in a downward row. Shelf view worked at one point and now it doesn't, any solutions?

Yes! For some reason it doesn't take effect immediately but rather you have to logout and back in again to see the changes.

IIRC new normal might not have a differences, but shelf view does.
