Title: Internal Server Error when replying
Post by: scott on April 08, 2012, 03:37:46 pm: No matter where I post from, be it laptop, desktop or phone. I keep getting errors when replying to forum threads.

Browser: Chrome
Provider: Cox

Doesn't make sense that it would be something on our end but it also doesn't make sense that while at my parent's house recently I had zero issues and they have a different service provider.

Trust me, it's better than that fiber optic BS that AT&T is pushing. Here it's either Cox or AT&T :(

Fiber optic lines are great....if you're the only one in your neighborhood that has one.

That might explain why certain members haven't seen the error.

EDIT: Just adding the italicized word worked for me.

I know a couple of us that are having the more serious issues are using Chrome, whereas htimreimer said that Opera has been working fine.

Does anyone use IE (patooie!) and are they having issues? Firefox or Safari? (Although generally Firefox and Chrome share similar issues and Safari and Opera share theirs, from what I've found.)

Same thing happens to me. Also I just got one and it was in the Rayman thread that has a video.

It just happened to me with my most recent post this morning at 10:05:57 (EST) in the "FAQ/Brainstorming thread".

It's happened before...and it seems that, usually, in spite of the error, the message *is* posted...because when I try to hit post again (after receiving the error)...it suggests that I "re-check" as "another post has been posted" since my last one (...which seems to be my post being posted in spite of receiving the error).

Post by: matt on May 10, 2012, 10:38:59 am: I've almost positive that it is a random problem with caching, which is why it is so hard to track. Basically a 'we are running out of memory' error. I'll be upgrading hardware in the near future which should fix this and allow for better control over things.

After spending *HOURS* looking around on-line for pictures of some of my Giclees & *Prinny* Plushies (so that I could add some of my Sweet-Swag to my collection here (...Actually & Luckily - the info & pics. of my Giclee & my "Standard" Prinny Plushie weren't hard to find at all)...

*BUT* that damned "Disgaea 5 inch, Laharl Prinny Plushie" (- the one w/ Angry look, purple wings & red eyes)...

...I couldn't, for the life of me, find a picture of it anywhere! Grrr.

Finally, I found one that (after those hours spent) I decided was close enough (just different color eyes) and decided to come here, relax, read & maybe write some posts/add some things; so, I get here...and what's the first thing that I see mentioned???

*PENGUINS*

- Fans of Disgaea games & people who know what Prinnies are will understand why "Penguins" would bother me right about now...
